Other than that, treat them well, make sure to not take too much and always....always thank them. Basic manners, you might say, although Rose had noted that several kindred, at least those she's seen with their own ghouls, didn't seem to want to follow those basic manners. Along with the fact, that the older you got, the less you felt they were needed. Well, she hoped she would never be in that bad a case, the stories that came from such situations were never the kind to make one complacent.
All this comes down to, she's been noticing that Angie and Diane had been 'plotting' something. Since the plotting seemed to be in the good natured, 'we're going to have fun' not in the unhappy 'lets get rid of someone' area, she allowed them to go about their business. Yes, keeping an eye on them, but indulgently allowing them to keep their secret.
Its late one night, the store is just closed, and she's finishing up some paperwork, before going upstairs. While she's not hunted for a few days, the hunger isn't that bad, so she's looking forward to a few hours of working, uninterrupted on her tapestry, thinking to finish it before Christmas, so she can gift 'The Rival Princesses' to Prince Carter. A knock at the back door gets her attention, then a key in the lock, and Angie and Diane are standing back there, both with equally silly grins on their faces, and a box held by Diane. A blink, then Rose asks the normal question. 'and what are you two up to?' She's also wondering just how friendly these two actually are? Its easier having ghouls who are at least friendly enough with each other, and not trying to cut each other up, but still....
'its kinda a party, Rose, we don't know your actual birthday, but I've been with you for nearly five years, this month, so....' *Diane looks over to Angie* 'well, we decided we had to celebrate somehow' The faint scent of pot is sufficient to say just how they'd been celebrating so far'
'I'm glad you two don't have to drive' *is Rose's rather dry comment, before a bright smile* 'well, come on in, I don't bite' *a grin* 'unless I need to'
Thats when Angie got her own two cents in. 'we were thinking you needed to, and, well, here we are, here you are....uhm....you haven't been out in a while....so?' Maybe her look was supposed to be seductive, it probably came over a bit more on the 'I'm stoned' bit.
What can a vampire do? Some might throw them out, others would send them away, but.....oh heck, she WAS a bit hungry...
And, there we shall leave them, allowing the prurient imaginations to run rampant.
Oh, the box? A book of different types of crafts, from tapestry to twine rugs, ancient crafts and a new spangled shawl, for all those vampirey type parties.
