There a unspoken clause in the contract at The Devil Reject Co-Op. One with a specific landlord getting his payment in a nontraditional means. slater get what he needs in blood without the hunt and best of all no one get hurt for most part. He has it set up with the rent that there is enough overflow so one person can be  short each month.


December story.

"I hate this time of month." he says out loud as he scuffle through a mound of paperwork seeing who still owe him rent. He make his list and began to make his rounds around the complex banging on doors and running down the people trying to avoid his presences. "God i hate this time month." slater slowly collect the rent due. He knows he not bad landlord because he give his tenant options and treat them with respect. He frustrated but he has to do his work. Slater go over to apartment 15 where Susan studio at and he bang on her door.

Susan open the door, "Hey Slater whats ups." Susan about 5'4 with black hair, brown eye with glasses, white, and in her mid twenty. she has a look that doesn't really draw attention to her self. she normally just wears blue jeans and band t-shirt right now she sporting a dead milk man. She just average woman.

slater just glad he dose not have to go through her window to track her down. "Hey little lady, i don't mean to be a buzzkill but your rent fucking due." He try to look gentle even with his over frustration of the situation.

Susan look worry but give him gesture to come in. "Hey just take a seat." A tea kettle in background go off as she goes to pull herself a cup of hot herbal tea.

Slater grab the middle seat on the couch that look like it was pulled of the curb on trash day it was orange and brown striped, from the 70, and smelled like it was from the 70.  "So rent?" He look tired.

Susan walks over and grab a seat next to him. She put down her cup of tea. "I don't have my rent slater they raised grad school  tuition at the university." she look worried that she may be out of home and she give slater the puppy dog eye to proves it.

Slater look at her and puts his right arm over her right shoulder. "Hey every thing will work out and we can work out a deal. Susan it just depend on what deal you want to make." he pulls her close and give her a mischievous smiles.

Slater rolls 5 dice to nice guy cha+subt (Diff 5) 1,8,1,7,6 (1 success) lower difficulty because no real choice.  

Susan know what the smile means but she really dose not have a choice if she dose not want to be kick out on the cold street and she won't be getting her loan until early January. She lower her hand to slater inner thigh and began to rub up to his crotch. "I have a deal in mine."

Slater collect his rent after an hour or so of work and leave Susan a happy  grad student.
