Today in a newspaper release, the SRPD stated that they are increasing their ranks with freshly graduated officers and sending them directly to patrol the slums due to the recent outbreak of murders in hopes to control the violence in the city.


((What this means is there will be more of a police presence in the slums. What THAT means is that when something is done that is illegal, like shooting a gun or breaking out in a fight, I'll do a investigation roll at around dif 6-8 dependant on location and situation against a stealth/conceal roll again depending on location and situation.  Stabbing people under a light on a sidewalk would certainly not be a 8, while stabbing in a dark ally won't be a 6.  Also they won't rain down when spotted, at least not for a little bit, so it is possible to take out a cop and not be fucked.))
