The announcement of the Blood Hunt on Randolph Carter came the night of a primogen meeting. HE was given one hour to vacate the city before anyone could freely take his life and blood.

As a former primogen most would expect him to be of relatively potent vitae.

Word would spread fast, as it always does... especially among any malkavians tapped into the network...

OOC if you wish to hunt for Randolph Carter please post your tactic here. Remember in a large city such as sanfield there are plenty of hiding places, so be specific about how you want to find him and i will tell you what to roll.

After the one hour safe passage is gone my hunt began. I simply start by checking the camera at chantry to gain where he left from, whats is he wearing, and how did he leave the chantry? My plan will devolpe after these question have answers .

*ooc I will be using herbal wisdom and wooden tounge to relocate his steps by talking to trees and inanimate objects*  

Shade will get word from Carter himself that he is to hunt the blood of Randolf Carter.

As a measure of investigation he will report the VERY recognizable Cadillac that Randolf drives as stolen to the Sanfield Police, and that he's like the chance to reason with his brother before any charges are pressed, he will leave his cell phone number with the police and notify that his runaway brother frequently tries to leave the city under such circumstances.

Shade will attempt to contact his ally, though unsure of whether or not his ally is actually there, he really isn't expecting a response.

Scouring the routes leading out of the city will be Shades first priority, followed closely by keeping an ear to the ground for any new developments.

While Hyde may be several hours behind the other two hunters, after his unexpected reunion with Beauty, Mister Grey is not. Hyde will rely upon his broodmate's newfound access to the city's electronic eyes, the scrambled two-way radio he was given and his own intimate knowledge of the city's underbelly to get where he needs to be.

SEBASTION: The cameras would reveal Randolphs usual suit, he left through the chantrys front gate in his very distinct Cadillac at a high rate of speed while talking on his cellphone...

Grey will radio you with Randolphs location, He just stopped at his Haven after being easily tracked via city cameras, unfortunately it seems he has also picked up a police tail or 'pig tail' as Grey calls it.

I assume your travelling via sewer so please roll wits and either survival or sewer lore at difficulty 6 to see if you can reach his haven or a nearby manhole before he departs.

SHADE: The police will call you back and say they have trailed your brother and your car to a house. They give you the address and say to get down there fast to talk to him or to call him right away.

To get there, please roll wits and drive, diff 7.

Success will mean you get there before he departs, and will put you right on par with Hyde assuming his roll succeeds.

I will stop at first light post and ask which way a black Cadillac went.

SEBASTION: The lightposts are talkative, and as weird as you look talking to them, they direct you easily to Randolphs haven.

Quite a race here guys. We're just waiting on sebastions 'get my ass there' roll and this may be a 3 way tie.

As it stands now Hyde arrives slightly before shade, and just in time to notice the lurking cops about a block away.

So once i get teh roll from Sebastion ill tell you were everyone stands and all hell can break loose accordingly.

OK so we have for arrivals:
Hyde: 5 successes.
Shade: 4 successes.
Sebastion: 1 success.

SO: Hyde gets there first, and will see the cops lingering about a block away. So Randolph cant run too far in his car, but theres still cops to deal with if it comes to that. Theres no sign of Randolph outside, but the door to his three story haven on the edge of the suburbs is wide open.

Shade will arrive in about a minute (Ill say when) and Sebastion will arrive in about 5 minutes.

Sounds good?

Since Masterpunks has dissapeared again and not really given me a plan... Ill continue with the one I implemented...

From the sewer grate Hyde will see a suburban neighborhood before him. A tricky place for an undead duel, what with neighborhood watches, nosy neighbors and paranoid parents.

On either end of the perfectly square block of near identical houses are a pair of squad cars. Their lights are out and they are silently waiting for something... One cop can be seen on a cellphone talking away.

Across the street is Randolphs easily identifieable car, Idling at the curb. His Haven is a simple townhouse. Two stories with thick curtains and a heavy wooden door. There is a small yard around the house and a cosmetic borderfence to keep the neighbors kids out of the well manicured yard.

Obfuscated, and knowing that when the blue and red lights on a cop-car are not engaged, neither is the camera pointing across the hood, he slinks across the street and pops his head in the open driver's window, eying the dash-controls, looking for the switch for the headlights. If they, or the parking lights are on because the car is, he will first make certain that the switch on the dash reflects their current status.

He understands the concept, even though he does not know how to drive. Back when the cars were bigger and had convertible tops, he and Beauty used to go to the drive-in movies. Even though this car is considered a classic, it's still a bit more modern than the last car he was in, so observing the controls might take a while.

When he is sure the headlights will not betray his position, he reaches in and kills the engine, pocketing the keys. Reaching in once more, he strips the ignition from the steering-column, ensuring that Randolf won't be leaving the same way he arrived.

The suburban street is near silent when the rumble of the cadillacs engine quits. Hyde can hear the sound of sprinklers down the block and a baby crying in some far off nursery...

The officer on the phone had called Shade and was going to give him the chance to talk to his 'Brother' about stealing his car.

Officer Benoit was a good christian and believed in second chances, plus he had seniority here so noone argued. So the cops were holding off until Shade arrived, which he aught to, any second...
