2008-06-12 16:14:58 Radiation rolls 4 dice to creature courage 4,4,6,8 (2 successes)
---------------------------------------

Hydes roar is deafening and he presents himself as an obvious threat. Fair fights are not the purvey of any beast, so the creature before Hyde takes a different option, as her charging form blurs she suddenly rockets to the left in a wide arc, ending with a streak of pale white flesh as she dissapears down the very hole she emerged from.

Remember: That which does not kill you was simply not permitted to do so for the purposes of the plot.

"..." Stunned not so much by the fact that his bluster succeeded, but more by the fact that that... thing moved that fast. He's glad he did not try to outrun it as he had originally planned. Damn good thing for Socrates and all his talk about listening to that inner voice. Well, then one would also have to thank Plato for writing it all down... and of course... Nevermind.

Hyde had heard the stories of ancient Nosferatu whose minds were not strong enough to handle the Becoming as all of his clan knows of these tales. He's even seen some pretty strange things in his time, but for that thing to have moved like that... it just doesn't make sense. Regardless, It can't be allowed to get out of here before he can tell someone else about it. Heading for the nearest of the four stalagmites with the intention of snapping them all off and tossing them down the hole to slow her exit, Hyde spots the rotting remains of Shug's dwarfish monkey-skull, palms it up and sets it by the entryway so as not to forget it on his way out and then returns to the rock formation.

{OOC you want STR rolls or something? how big are these things?}

The stalagmites are very big... hmm. With your potence you might be able to do it though, but it would be a strain, even for Hyde. No need to roll... she aint coming back for you anytime soon.

"Hyde pushes toward the top of the stone structure to provide leverage and begins hammering his fist into the bottom of it to try to make it snap off. If it is too much for him to lift, he will push it across the floor to the pit and shove it over the side, then return to the others and try the same tactic.

After heaving the stones in, he will collect Shug's skull, and begin bashing his free hand into the arched entryway to the cavern. He knows that this is only a temporary solution, it certainly wouldn't keep him pinned forever, and he knows there is more to that creature than it has let on.
