Hel's desmesnes are humble by the living standards of most humans, much less a vampire with even the remotest access to running water or civilization.
She has a small system of caves to the northwest of town smack dab in the middle of the forest.  The outside is quiet and unassuming, there have been no disturbances of the trees or bushes in the area, and no discernible well-trod path into the cave save for a few paw prints here and there from the occasional beasty taking shelter.
In the heart of the spiraling passageways is a small room that smells of wet earth.  There's a faint sound of water if one listens quietly enough but it can't be closer than two or three-hundred feet away and there's no ready access to it.
In one corner, carelessly tossed aside is a torn green army-issue backpack that at one point must have been quite utilitarian, though now looks rather rotted, as does the clothing inside of it.
A small tin locket lies atop it, and if you open it, a grainy black-and-white photo of a beautiful (if not slightly disdainful looking) woman.
In various tunnels leading from the room, you'll find the rusted remainders of 3 solar panels that look as though they were connected to a generator at one point although the generator doesn't look like it'll be working anytime soon.
There are also a number of equally rusted hand tools that looks like they've been around for quite some time and are probably useless.
All told the cave could be a scrap heap for a hermit if one were to look closely enough.
The only sign of regular inhabitants are the rustling sounds of wings that show the hint of a population of cave bats nearby.
