Daniel will make it into the Industrial District with relative ease. It seems the patrols are gone from the streets of Sanfield and the predominance of Agents is gone.  From everything he can see all of the city's efforts (and Agents) are focused on the Monolith at the moment, which means they aren't looking for him...yet.

Daniel and Nikki will make it into the lines and rows of warehouses without so much as a run-in with any other person.  Stopping behind a group of dumpsters he will tell Nikki to stay there for just a second..

..Daniel will round the corner of Rah'shid's warehouse and look into the camera and say call me with very distinct mouth movements.  Hopefully even if this camera doesn't have sound, they will understand him.

Going back around the corner to Nikki they will continue on...

"Sorry for that, I just had to leave a message of sorts with some of the other awakened in the city, hopefully they will get my message.  So do you smell any frozen meat in the vicinity??"

Nikki looks at him as if he were crazy. "Do I SMELL frozen meat? Have you the brainworms?"

Daniel will point to his bloody head with a bloody hand.

"It's possible i might be crazy...."  Daniel will grin, and although hurt seems to be in better spirits now that they are out and away from the White Rabbit.

Daniel will troll the darkened streets looking for some kind of abandoned meat packing plant, or solid, non-wood refridgerated location where he can hole up until/if this "affliction" ever goes away.

"So, why did you come to the <sarcasm>glorious</sarcasm> town of Sanfield anyways?"

"There's gotta be somewhere with a fridge for you around here," Nikki mutters.
She looks back over to Daniel. "Oh. Well, it's about as unlikely of a place for me to be found as any."

"Well I suppose it's a good place not to be found by some, but I think you may have been found by someone worse."

Daniel sighs...

"Screw the boots..."

Daniel will sit down on the pavement and pull off his bloody melting boots.  he has been leaving gooey rubber footprints for the last few blocks and now it's just not worth it. Daniel will throw his boots into the nearest storm drain and continue barefoot.

"Looks like you're going to be walking next to a naked guy soon enough if i don't find something..."

"What are you talking about something worse? The techs? They're gonna take a while to recover from that, I'm sure."
She frowns at the tracks that Daniel is leaving behind. "Although, we might want to get rid of that rubber and wash off the blood you're leaving everywhere if you're afraid of being found."

"I've dealt with the teks a number of times in this city, they aren't ones to live and let live."  

Nikki will undoubtedly notice an Irish Brogue behind Daniels words...

"Well that and I broke their toy..."

Daniel will look behind him as well, now leaving bloody footprints along the pavement.  

"What we need is rain, or a really big bucket of water..."

"Well, I'm no weather witch, so that's a no on the rain. I'm sure we can find a big bucket of water somewhere, though."
"As far as the techs go, though... We'll see."

"By the way, Daniel, who is it that we are looking for out here? Who were you trying to contact by making faces at that security camera?"

"Two gentlemen by the name of Rah'shid and Pelayo, two Sons of Ether who were going to remove a fetus from his belly when i last left them.  Problem is I don't know where they went."

Daniel will look into every abandoned warehouse thats not crumbling and rotting wood hoping to find some place to just be for a while.

Nikki stops in her tracks. "Excuse me? Fetus from HIS belly? What the hell? Who the hell? How the hell?"
She moves on, knowing that thinking any more about this is sure to give her a terrifying headache.
"Hey! Alice forgot her cell phone at the bar, maybe I can go get it. She's sure to have at least this Rashid guy's number, since she seems to be very much trusted by Gand."

"Yeah....His.  Don't ask i'm not quite sure myself.  And if you want to risk going back to the White Rabbit go for it.  By now i suspect Rachel has locked it all up and gone home, hoping not to dream about all the blood and singed footprints I left on her floor."  Maybe go by tomorrow, at least we may have found a place to stash me so i don't scare the locals..."

Nikki looks around the street. "I'm sure we'll find something soon. Here, why don't we check out that building over there?"
She points out a building that seems to be in a slightly less precarious state of disrepair.

A phone is ringing.

The phone is audible, and it is clear it is not from inside a building. Its a payphone receiving a call, quite odd at this hour at night, or period since payphones usually don't recieve calls.

The phone rings a bit before stopping, as if someone hung up, but starts up again.

"Daniel, wait here, I hear a phone ringing!"
Nikki runs out, heading towards the sound of the payphone.

Nikki runs around the corner, but can't quite seem to find the payphone, which is still ringing, she wants to reach it...

The phone still rings and rings, even after the call is doesn't pick up.  Rah'shid knows she is looking for the phone, he can see the burnt man watching from his factory still.
