As the large, black, contemporary styled grandfather clock in Shades loft strikes 10pm there will be a knock on the door.  In reality Michael has been waiting around the corner in the hallway for going on 10 minutes now.  Shade calmly walks over and opens the door to let the young man in.

"Welcome to my home Michael, you're one of only three people who have ever seen it's interior, so please come in, make youself comfortable."

Shade, having made it a point to pick up some of the mortal pleasantries (booze, some snacks, et cetera) makes Michael a simple Jack and Coke and sits down to talk with this young man.

The niceties will be discussed, how the young man is progressing in school, what he does on the side for work, for fun, he will of course inquire what Mister Blake does, to which of course Mister Blake will sidestep the question.  Before the third drink it would likely be unwise to inform Michael that this man is, at the moment, a contract killer.

The night will wear on, and eventually this young man actually surprises Shade.

Michael will comment to Shade...

"So, isn't tonight round three?"

Said in an eager tone of voice that will cause Shade to raise an eyebrow...

"I believe you're right Mr. Boyd. Shall we get started?"

Shade will walk to the counter and pick up a single goblet..

"Tonight is the final night, tonight it's simply blood."

Cutting his wrist he will let his precious vitae fall into the glass and take it to Michael.

Licking the few drops off his own wrist and sealing the wound Shade will hand the glass to the young man on his sofa.

"Bottoms up."

Shade will watch expectantly as the young human swirls the vitae around in the glass that now resides in his hand. Stillness will permeate the room, and the Vampire will watch the prey.

The fly in the spiders lair.  Michael will stare into the swirling red and sit the glass on the table before him.

Michaels courage has faltered for the moment, but seeing this man, feeling these strange feelings this sense of devotion to him.  Meaningless conversation is exchanged once again and a short while later Michael reaches for the glass again..

His courage returns, as does his force of will.  Michael will down the glass, and it would seem he's savoring it.  And with that last drink, the third night...Michael will be bound to Shade, a ghoul to one of the unliving, forever deemed to serve masters who can only walk in the glow of the moon.
