Alessio enters the building through a secure, private door, unknown to most. He passes the company secretary who had to stay late making copies. His sudden and unsettling appearance startles her, causing her to drop the thick bundle of files she is carrying.

"Oh... Mr. Giovanni... I'm so sorry... You frightened me..."

She crawls on the ground collecting the lost papers.

Alessio grins down at her as she passes, his eyes gleaming in the florescent lights. For a second, the poor girl is deathly certain that she is staring into the eyes of a hungry fox. Once he is passed, she allows herself a shutter.

"I'll be working late... I have important business that needs dealing with, right away..."

His voice trails off as he ventures down the hall, towards his office.

They work long into the night.

Alessio will have the secretary bring him all documents pertaining to Georgia and Sandfield Rock's current building, construction and residential codes. He will also have her dig up all Georgian court cases dealing with the condemnation and seizure of property in the last 50 years. He will retrieve the files he pulled on Willem Uys and the Sanfield Rock Diamond Exchange. When the secretary manages to find everything, he has her pull up information on current US immigration laws. Once all of the information he needs is collected, the real work can begin.

First, he makes a call, trying to get immigration information on one, Willem Uys.

While he waits for the file to be faxed over, he will scour the Bureaucratic law files. Cross-referencing them with his paperwork on the Diamond Exchange, he attempts to find some loop hole or faux pas missed in the construction of the building or its 30 subsequent years of existence.

He becomes somewhat frustrated after not making much progress and decides to try another angle. He will go after his prey in a more direct way. He will use to firm's assets and his own personal connections to sabotage Uys's finances.
