Reina arrives at the cigar shop. Were she mortal, she would be out of breath, but so be it.
She holds a black plastic bag in her right hand, her eyes, claws, and rate of speed having returned to normal.

"I need to see the Sheriff or his Boss," she yells, "This is motherfucking important!"

Reina nearly gives the ancient shopworkers all simultanious heart attacks. This isnt the kind of place random asians go yelling all that often.

'Oi shut up ya Hussy this aint no football game!'

The hunched man, who has to be ninety years old yells back at Reina from across the store. The old men give no sign of knowing what she means by sheriff and if it doesnt smoke or drink, it aint important to them.

Reina wont see any sign of Zaine, Paige isnt expecting him for another hour at least so she will answer Reina by loudly clearing her throat and waving her over to her spot in the corner.

Reina glares at the old man on her way to Paige's corner.

She remembers her from Elysium, she thinks.

"You work for Zaine? We got problems," she states bluntly.

Reina should remember Paige. Shes a serious faced Brujah who looked wholly uncomfortable in her dress. She seems far more comfortable in her functional, forgettable, and probably armored black clothes tonight.

'We always got problems. Whats in the bag?'

Paige closes her folder before Reina can see what she was reading and flicks her chin at the plastic bag in Reinas hand.

"Well, I might not want to open the bag in the company of all these...old men," she says as her eyes flick over to the small gathering of mortals in the shop.

"You got an office or something? There are 2 things in this bag, one of which is kinda gross, the other of which is...our kind of business."

Theres no reason to ruin Zaines illusion about these men. Paige just nods and stands, leading Reina past the bar and the scowling old man to a stairwell that leads down. The basement of the cigar shop is less of an office and more of an all purpose, cement walled room that smells faintly of bleach. Zaine does frequent, violent buisness down here.

Paige will tap her pale fingers on a metal table for Reina to dump out the contents of the bag.

'We can talk here. Whats going on?'

Reina dumps out the head and the stencil onto the table, making a bit of a bloody mess, though most of the blood is dried.

"This punk ass kid tried to paint this sign on one of my bums. You ever seen him, or the sign before? This shit is bad news."

She traces the outlines of the symbol with her finger.

"This means an area is targeted for destruction by the Degenerates, you know, the Toreadors on the other side of the fence. He said he's painted it in other places, we're gonna want to find out real quick what those are. He also said they're coming to torch the city, and something about a storm coming to destroy us all...which sounds kind of familiar, I just can't place it."

'How do you know of this symbol? It looks like badly done graffiti..'

Paige asks as she meshes her fingers in Stevies bloody hair and picks up his head so she can look at his face. She has never seen him before and scrunches her nose a bit at the smell of his dead blood.

Paige will look to Reina for an answer or an explanation while she takes out her cellphone and selects its camera function...

"I know a few things about the Sabbat. Used to be one of them," Reina answers nonchalantly. "Zaine knows, and Carter knows, figured I wouldn't spread that around too much, but since you're one of Zaine's people..."

Reina shrugs, halfway waiting for Paige to just explode, especially if she's anything like her volatile boss.

"All I know is this sign means bad fucking news."

'No shit?'

Paige will look Reina up and down as if really seeing her for the first time. That revelation explains alot, especially the shitty domain she was granted that Carter wouldnt even curse the Nosferatu with...

Paige focuses her camera on the symbol and takes a quick picture. She will forward it off to Zaine with the press of a button.

'We need eyes, lots of them. Zaine would owe us both big if we can find all these tags. Will you help me?'

"Yeah, no shit," Reina grins.

Reina seems surprised by how pleasant Paige is being. She would make a much better sheriff than the irascible, seemingly uncontrollably rude and angry Zaine. Although, Reina doesn't know the inner workings of the city, Carter's probably put Zaine in that position of power for a reason, but who knows what plans within plans within plans the Prince has.

"Of course I'll help you, I don't want these assholes taking over the city any more than you do. Probably less, actually. You want to split up, or go hunting together?"

'Lets stick together. We dont know how many of these fuckers we might come across..'

Paige seems grim. She has no real desire to any of this. Its all indentured servitude. Repayment for a crime she commited a decade ago. Its just her luck the Sabbat would show up during her last year of service...

'Did you get any other leads out of this guy or do we need to just search the obvious places?'

"Yeah, you're right, better have more hands for fighting and more eyes for spotting," Reina says.

This won't be like being in a pack again, the comfort of which she sometimes misses, but it might be nice...

"Nah, he just spouted off some ridiculous shit about evil bikers making him do it. Wait, isn't there some kind of biker club around here? I saw them all ride up into Dead Punk land once."

'Theres that club-garage out on the highway. You think they have something to do with this?'

Paige slips away her phone once the picture sends and heads for the stairs back up into the shop.

'Bellisa was involved with that crew. Im not sure to what extent... Maybe that explains why shes gone missing.'

"Bellisa? Oh yeah, she was part of the group that volunteered to help Solomon on his suicide mission. So was I. She's gone missing, you say? Well, with Sabbat all around the city, it was bound to happen to some of us."

Reina shrugs, that Bellisa walked around like her shit didn't stink, no big loss as far as she's concerned.

"Well, we might as well check out the biker garage, just in case. If they had anything to do with these signs going up, we should seriously watch our asses, though."

'Brujah elder is a cursed position around here. Marlena met a horrible end just months ago. Now Bellisa is missing, I wouldnt be suprised if we lose Zaine next...'

Paige comments grimly. Her clan is dropping like flies and if she werent stuck with this position she would have left town months ago.

'We will be careful. The two of us stand a better chance than bringing Solomon and his crack-brigade with us. We can slip away if we are too outnumbered...'

Recieving no response from Zaine Paige will just head off with Reina. She leads the way up the stairs and out of the cigar shop. Her car, a long black Audi waits halfway down the block.

"Yeah, we seem to be having the opposite problem. Gangrel seem to be popping up like weeds around here lately. Though they don't tend to stick around, I guess."

Reina follows Paige up the stairs, out the the door and to the car, waiting patiently for Paige to unlock the passenger's side door.

"Yeah, we don't really want the zany bunch out on recon. I know some of them can be quiet, but they also seem like the type to overreact and get us all killed."

'Once was enough.' Paige comments in her dry voice at the prospect of dying again.

She slips into the car, the locks popping on Reinas door. In just a moment they will be on their way out of the city and heading for the Bikers clubhouse.
