The maître d' will take his card, snort quietly under his breath, and eye Mr. Uys head to toe.

He sets down the business card and coughs lightly into his hand.

"Excuse me, sir, but do you have a reservation?"

Do i need a reservation?

The maître d' takes a small step back, not mustering the willpower to stand before the overbearing man. Again, he coughs lightly into his hand.

"Right this way, sir."

Their are not many patrons in the restraunt this evening. He shows Mr. Uys to a small table by the window. Leaving him, the maître d' makes his way to the back end of the restraunt, quietly speaking to a man seated in a dark nitch in the corner.

Willem is left waiting for several minutes before a waiter comes to ask his drink order.

*Looks to the waiter.*
"Just some water, please. Is mister Giovanni ready yet?"

"Uh..."

The waiter stammers, quickly glancing over his shoulder towards the back of the restaurant.

"... He has been made aware of your presence..."

A quick duck of the head and he scurries off to the kitchen.

*Willem smirks. You know 50 years ago he would have wrecked the place for keeping him waiting for more then 1 minute. But Derren had taught him better. His soldiering was over. You left that to the young ones. Offcourse disrespect had to be repaid but you`re vamp, you have got all eternity. Willem let`s out a fake yawn and picks a small notebook from his pocket and starts reading.*

Willem will be left idly toying with his glass of water for more than 30 minutes. Eventually, his waiter appears and informs him that Mr. Giovanni is ready to see him.

He will lead Willem to Alessio's private seating area in the back of the restaurant. As he approaches the table, Alessio is just finishing up with some business, shuffling his papers and arranging them in his briefcase.

On the table before him sits half a bottle of '73 Nero d'Avola and a plate with half a human liver smothered in a thick brown sauce, the last remnants of his dinner.

Good evening, Mister Giovanni. I hope i didn`t distrupt anything important. ( A couple of revenge scenario`s are rushing through his mind. Mmm Molotov cocktails should work well all this linnen.)
Let me introduce myself Willem Uys,*looks around for any mortals.* from clan Ventrue.

Alessio waves his hand dismissively.

"Take a seat... I know who you are."

As Willem sits down opposite him, Alessio will summon a waiter, who brings him a clean wineglass. He fills the glasses, offering one to the ventrue.

"Now, what is so important that you could not make an appointment to speak with me?"

"Well I didn’t know any of the Giovanni in this town, but I learned from experience that there are certain ways of contacting them. Usually classy Italian owned companies with a certain reputation." *Looks at the liver.* And this place had all that."

"However where I came for, is basically doing a business proposal. I represent a certain amount of money and connections. And I wish to create a business which has the betterment of the city and the company owners at heart. I had hoped that the Giovanni would invest in such undertaking.  Because a better Sanfield Rock is a more stabile Sanfield Rock, and war might be good for business in the short term, it usually leads to many regrettable deaths. Off course it is still an investment and it will provide excellent business opportunities for any participants.”

"I thought the Ventrue taught their young the common etiquette of never showing up unannounced... but perhaps I was mistaken."

Alessio pauses for a moment, drawing breath into his dead lungs as if to calm himself. He ponders the thought of Sanfield errupting in war. How many souls could be harvested?. The question brings to mind promising numbers... Quite an investment.

"As for your proposal... We have already begun many business ventures in the city... and one has only so much money..."

His formal tone begins to slip somewhat, being replaced by a sarcastic sicilian accent.

"But hey, tell ya what, I'll do the numbers again and maybe we can find a few crumbs to throw to this charity of yours."

Leave it to a Ventrue to whip his dick out a dinner, Alessio thinks to himself. This meeting has lost the small measure of amusement that had cause Alessio to agree to it in the first place.

Alessio wipes his hands clean on his napkin and tosses it onto the table.

Severo's huge form comes into view, casting the already dark alcove into deeper shadow. He is wearing a rather nice black suit, with large gold cufflinks, a gift for a job well done. He cracks his knuckles and stares down Uys.

"I think its time you took off."

*Willem slowly stands up and straightens his suit.*

Severo will look to Alessio for instruction. He wants very desperately to crush this blue blood's skull... but will only do so with the boss's permission.

Alessio will give a small shake of his head to Severo's silent question. This is not the time, nor the place. Even if this ignorant whelp knows no class, Alessio will never lower himself to such a level. He will stay seated and only casually glance to Uys.

"Next time, learn some fucking manners before you come calling..."

As Uys makes his exit, Alessio rises from the table.

"Make sure that bastardo leaves."

He practically growls the words to Severo, before collecting his briefcase and heading back into the kitchen.
