*She'd dressed for the occasion, a black business suit with fine pin-stripes in a pale gray. It was of course a pant suit, matched up with a pale gray dress shirt underneath and a pair of black pumps. She wore no make-up as usual, no jewelry and seemed to wear no weapons though one couldn't be entirely sure.

The black briefcase carried with her looks quite expensive to match the perfect suit, it probably is the only suit she actually owns.

A cool glance to the Maitré de and murmurs that she is here to meet Mr. Alessio Giovanni. Then she waits, looking patient though she won't stay such for long.*

The Maitré de doesn't seem surprised in the least and shows her immediately to Alessio's private seating in the back.

As she approaches, she will see Alessio sitting in the dark nook, patiently awaiting her arrival.

"Goodevering, Miss Damita."

He offers to take her hand and will kiss it, if she allows.

*She'd shake his hand firmly but remove it before he could place a kiss upon it. Then she'd seat herself without invitation since she'd already gotten one to be here. Her legs cross and she sets her briefcase on the floor beside her seat.

For a moment she just studies him carefully then her lips part. Her voice is commanding, she is used to being paid attention to but does not revel in it.*

Your work impressed me, as did your punctuality. I hate people who waste my time and so far you've not done so.  *Her eyes move, to roam the restaurant for other patrons, as well as to appraise the place itself.*

Alessio signals a waiter and seconds later, a trio of waiters appear with hands full.

The first brings silverware, claret colored silk napkins, and two empty wine glasses.

The second brings two bottles. He opens the first, a bottle of '53 Malvasia Nera, and fills each glass half way. The sweet, perfumed wine reminded Alessio of passion. He mused that Bellisa must taste very similar. The second bottle was subsequently opened and another quarter of the glasses were filled. It contained the vitae of a rather famous 17th century Italian opera singer. He thought it complimented the  Malvasia nicely.

The third carries two plates. On each plate is a fist sized hearts, glazed in a white pepper sauce. One is set before each of them.

Once the waiters completed their tasks and vanished back into the kitchen, Alessio will lift his glass in toast.

"A hundred years of health and happiness."

He smiles warmly at Bellisa... though, he could just be bearing his teeth.

*She has always appreciated fine wines, after all in her childhood years children were permitted to drink wine with meals. Her nose will catch the scent of it and the blood, a brow will raise slightly.

However the hearts produce a frown from her, she's used to cutting them out of her prey but eating them? Hardly, it's distasteful and only proves her point about Giovanni being fucked up sons of bitches.*

I am here for business not pleasure or to feed. *She leans forward slightly, a slow burning fire behind those captivating hazel eyes.* One never lets their guard down by allowing another to tamper with their food. So no offense meant but I will not touch your offered treats. *She leans back once again and motions to a waiter to take her glass and plate away.*

*She waits for it to be gone then murmurs again in a softer tone.* Do you honestly think any Elder has stayed alive so damn long by trusting anyone at all? By drinking what is offered by strangers? Do not tell me you are that foolish.

"I am sorry if I have offended you, but where I come from, we still have a measure of honor."

Alessio signals a waiter to take Bellisa's glass and plate, her gestures having been ignored.

"So... Down to business. I assume you were pleased by my offer or you wouldn't of come."

Alessio leans back, taking a long draft of his wine.

Your work interested me, yes. Afterall who would not want to amass more wealth?

My only concern is where you will stand in my business... I'd only take on a silent partner and one who held no power in my work. Not that I would not take suggestions under consideration but I'm sure you understand I would never give up control.

Alessio strokes his chin, deeply pondering Bellisa's offer.

"I would concede to being a silent partner... and of having no authority over the club... but I want 49% of the stocks. You would still hold the majority share, and thus maintain veto power. I simply wish to see some return on the investment. For this, you gain all of my skills and resources."

*She folds her arms on the table and leans in slightly.* 40% in the stocks and 10% of merchandise sales.

I've yet to know what your skills are besides crunching some numbers. Now would be the time to share. *A slow smile though it never quite reaches her eyes.*

"One is not brought into Clan Giovanni for being skilled in a single field. I never would have been embraces, nor would I have been allowed to survive this long, were I only good with numbers."

Alessio chuckles low, taking a sip of his wine.

"No, I bring security... financial and otherwise. I am rather talented at manipulating the local system to whatever ends are needed... and I have access into avenues unavailable to most."

He sits back grinning as if he has just told some joke.  

"40% is acceptable... but I want at least 25% of the merchandise."

Well at least one family has high standards. *She mutters with a soft frown.* I was beginning to wonder in this city.

15% of the merchandise, it's a bigger business then you think. *She removes her financial paperwork from her briefcase and slides it towards him.* Also in the future should I have any further business ventures I will contact you and allow you an In. *She adds this to the offer with her usual cool tones.*

Alessio takes the folder containing The Banshee's records.

He flips through it quickly, almost seeming distracted. After a minutes or two, he sets down the papers. He takes a long quaff of his glass and rubs a hand over his face.

"I'll have to go over these later, but it seems like everything will work out just fine... So, we have a deal?"

He leans over the table towards her, extending his hand.

*She knew he'd take the 15%, a slow smile and shakes his hand firmly.* Yes, we have a deal. Take your time with the paperwork, and like I said, make a few suggestions if you wish.

*She idly wonders what has him so distracted but really she could care less.* You know you really should expand into the information business... give the sewer runners some competition... plus you'd be even more valuable to people like me.

*She stands, grabbing her briefcase, their business is concluded and she sees no reason to socialize because she isn't altogether good at it.*

"I will have the paperwork brought over within the week. All business related interaction outside of personal meetings between you and I shall be seen to by my cousin, Severo. He has proven his trust and ability. It is important to trust those you operate with. One can never be too careful."

He tries to smile at her warmly and sound sincere.

He just barely pulls it off. Under his thin veil of candor, he is a depraved monster. He understands his inability to hide his inner vileness for more than the length of a conversation. It is part of the reason he prefers to remain in the shadows of others. He think their is a good chance Bellisa would respect, or even admire, his abhorrent nature. From the stories he had heard of her, she was a heartless bitch. His own interactions with her had only solidified the rumors. Every woman in his family was a heartless bitch, so he had a natural attraction and understanding. Only time would tell if she was up to his standards.

I know nothing of this Severo, so we shall see if I allow him to be our go between. *A brow raises at the smile, he may pull it off but it doesn't mean she has to like it.* Save it for the cattle.

*A faint nod.* I prefer no middle men but since you wish it to be this way, we shall try it. I wont promise his safety though if I find him untrustworthy so be sure he's your best choice.

*Without waiting for a reply she turns and leaves the restaurant, nodding to her man Devin who looks decidedly out of place even standing outside such a restaurant. She slides into the back seat of the car as Devin holds open the door. The large man glances back at the restaurant once before climbing into the car and driving Bellisa home.*

Alessio watches her leave, idly swirling the glass in his hand. He wonders how long this little arrangement will last. He chuckles at the idea that he would use someone untrustworthy for such an important operation. Bellisa seems to underestimate him. He doubts it will be long before that assumption comes back to bite her in the ass.
