The evening after Willem Uys' fateful visit, the phone in the office will ring.

A raspy male's voice with a think Italian accent will answer.

"Hello..."

The accent on the other end is difficult to place, there are certainly Haitian overtones, but harsh German consonants are just beneath the surface.

"Good evening, this number was not easy to find... I am seeking the Master of this establishment. I assure you, it will not be time wasted."

"I have some... information regarding a certain party who sought to burn down your establishment last night."

Their is a long pause. You hear the scratchy sound of someone placing a hand over the receiver, followed by muffled yelling in Italian. Another moment of silence follows.

You can hear movement through the phone, then a monotone male voice bearing a slight accent Italian answers.

"Who am I speaking with?"

It is definitely not the same voice that answered the phone.

"Greetings neighbor." One can almost hear that razorblade smile through the phone. "I am known as Alhmanic Drexler, I am something of a new arrival to this city. I will not be offended that you have not heard of me."

There is a pause, a brief consideration of how best to proceed. He decides to concede a little ground. He continues in Italian, though certainly not native, the accent is at least studied.

*"You and I have much in common, I think. We are both family men, men of business, men who follow a certain code, and perhaps, not men at all."*

*"Last night a rich man I did not know came into my territory and a member of my family is now dead because of it. I now know much about this man. Including the knowledge that he sought to destroy your establishment by using my people. I would like to arrange a meeting of a more personal nature with you, if you are willing, that we might share our knowledge."*

There is a moment of silence before Alessio speaks.

"Where would you like to meet and when?"

*"It is only polite that I should allow you to choose the place and time, I could easily come to your restaurant, if such would make you feel more at ease about my abrupt and rude phone call. I would suggest a more neutral location, but I do not know the city well enough yet."*

"I have heard of a place..."

Alessio cringes before using the ridiculous name.

"...Captain Redundant's Smoking Parlor... I was told it is a gentlemanly retreat."

"So be it. I will see you there."

"... an hour after sundown."

Alessio pauses for a moment longer.

"A good night to you, sir."

and the phone clicks dead.
