Cyrus takes the waiting drink from Rebbeca with a brief nod of gratitude, and tips it slightly, as if toasting, in Natasha's direction. He takes a delicate sip from the glass, his overly discriminating palate rejecting the vitae from an unknown source. 'Good Lord!'he thinks to himself, 'This could be from any vermin infested trash inhabiting the back alley's!' The rum was easily palatable, something he had enjoyed on many nights with a good cigar, but it was overpowering tonight after the delicate Scotch, sugary and syrupy. A slight grimace plays on his face.
He politely waits until Rebbeca has left the room again, before he sets the glass down onto the end table slightly dismayed.
" I must really apologize, Natasha..I wasn't thinking."He apologizes for the abrupt behavior, shaking his head.
" I have this thing for 'food'from unknown sources...I just can't seem to palate it. A little thing passed on to me from my forebearers. But the idea is quite wonderful, really!"
Reaching forward, he picks the glass of aged Scotch back up, swirling it around in the glass, it's soft amber color almost glowing in the soft lighting.
"You know, Natasha, I think that it would go wonderful with some old Sctoch as well..the flavors would completely complement one another. Perhaps we shall have to try that.." He takes a sip from the glass, a thoughtful look on his face. One could almost hear the cogs of his mind squealing in protest as he threw them into overdrive.
"Dinner...Hmmm?" He come back with a slight start, breaking the thought process that had him entranced. "Well, my dear...I'm thinking that it's safe to say that we'll both prefer it be after sunset, correct?" That flirtatious little wink floats her way again, as though they were sharing some little secret known only to them, which in some way was true.
"In all honesty, my dear, my not quite sure what my schedule entails at this point. I've been in the city for less than 24 hours, and I still have a lot to accomplish. But how about we set a tenative date for one week from today? We can always move it up sooner should the calendar clear."

"No, its all right. Though, I certainly wouldn't serve some vermin food," there it is in her eyes, the briefest flash of insult. Though, her own common sense conquered over her emotions this time. "I can understand. Scotch may well go with it. Admittedly, I'm not such a big fan of heavy liquors without a...chaser."
Her eyes flicker toward the screen, some sort of commotion had erupted in her club. But her bouncers were quickly on top of it. She smiles faintly, before turning her attention back to Cyrus. She parts her lips in a soft smile.
"Yes, after sunset would be best. A week from today," she conciders this for a moment. "If my calender keeps, that should be fine."

"From the appearances alone, I know you serve only the best to your discerning clientale, my dear" It's not not hard to see how his dislike of the drink could be taken as mildly insulting, though that was not his intent. "I would never think that you would serve vermin food!"
Cyrus looks towards the screen, watching for a brief second, casually glancing at the clock on the wall. More time has passed than he had anticipated spending her, though he would hardly say that it was time ill spent. He smiles at Natasha as she agrees to the future engagement. Of course, with a busy club to run, who knows what may happen. He lifts her hand, still wrapped around his own, and presses it to his lips, kissing the back of her hand in an old fashioned gesture.
"I can only pray that you schedule does keep, Natasha, if only so I can see you in the nearer future, rather than the far."
As he rises from his seat, Cyrus reaches in to the inside pocket of his coat, and drawing out a card.
"I really do hate to be leaving you company so soon, my dear, but I still have much to do tonight. I have yet to secure my lodging for the night, and I have several business calls yet to make." He stares at her longingly, losing himself in the liquid brown eyes, if only for a moment. "I can't tell you how glad I am that I met you tonight, Natasha. Thank you for everything"
He hands her the card, and she can see that there is only a phone number and his name printed on it. His fingers linger as they touch her hand.
"If things should change, my dear..for any reason, ..please call me any time."

She smiles as his chilled lips press against her silken knuckles. When he stands, so does she. She moothes her dress out with the palms of her hands. She gingerly takes the offered card, looking it over quickly. She slides the business card into a pocket, coming back with one of her own.
Trapped between her index and middle finger, she extends the card to him. Hers is a bit more flamboyant. White with golden embossed filgree framing her name, business, and business numbers. His eyes capture hers and she smiles sweetly, closing the distance between them by hooking her arm in his.
"I can not tell you how much I have enjoyed your company this evening Cyrus. I will be counting the moments unti we meet again," she chuckles lightly. "You are most welcome, please allow me to walk you out. We can take the back exit through the garden out back. I wouldn't dream of making you fight your way through that."
A light gesture is made toward the screen, where he could clearly see the crowd. Natasha leads Cyrus through the back 'emergency' exit and out into a night garden full of moon flowers and other exotic night plants. The garden perfumes the air with its sweet, invitng aroma.
She continues through the garden until they come to the parking lot. The young Vallet boys jumps up, quickly putting out his 'cigarette' with a strange pine forest scent. Natasha merely raises a brow to this, her lips pursed. She sighs and shakes her head.
"Can't watch all of them all of the time," she turns to him and smiles softly. "You have a wonderful evening Cyrus."

Taking her card from between her delicate fingers, Cyrus glances at it for a moment before sliding it into his inside coat pocket, brushing his fingers against hers. His eyes are locked onto hers, and she smiles at him as she returns his gaze. She continues to smile as she breaks their eye-lock by sliding her arm through his, escorting him casually to the back exit.
"Thank you, my dear, for the escort. I'm glad that I was able to avoid that crowd. Not exactly my kind of scene really." He chuckles softly at the idea of shoving his way through the crowded room. Not that it would be much a challenge, but it would probably break the masqeurade numerous times. He turns his head slightly towards her, one eyebrow raised in that paculiar way that only a few people seem to manage.
"I'm even more grateful for the escort as it gives me a few more minutes with you Natasha, my dear. Despite a few differences, bella, I do believe we have much in common. And I look forward to finding out if that is the case!" The flowers sweetly perfume the night air as they stroll through the garden. The moon flowers are so gleaming white in the darkened garden that the giant blossoms almost seem to glow.
And then the parking lot is upon them as they silently walking arm in arm, out of the garden, startling the valet  caught with joint still between his fingers. Natasha gives him a disapproving look, shaking her head.
" No...we can't, can we. But they are like children for us, aren't they. They need guidance, and sometimes discipline, to really reach their potential." he muses, laughing gently. "That... or they are just fodder!"
Turning to face Natasha, once more Cyrus gives that little bow, but deeper this time and obviously with more repsect, even as she tells him to have a wonderful evening. As he starts to rise again, he slides him hand under hers, pulling it to his frigid lips, softly kissing the backside of her hand. And then, he is upright again, smiling at her
"I shall, Natasha...I shall! An you as well, bella! Should you need me for anything, please call without hesitation."
And with a lithe spin on the balls of the well polished shoes, he heads across the parking, towards the entry way on the street, where his car is parked. And wonderful indeed!
