As my henchmen file out of the room, I immediately go to work, preparing a solution of purified water and natron and sprinkling upon the cooling cadaver. Reading incantations from the Book of Set, I draw my bone dagger, touching it to Agwe’s lips.

*“Speak. Your master commands you.”

2008-08-21 23:18:08 Drexl rolls 10 dice to Int+Occult(OpeningMouth) 3,3,6,10,1, 5,9,2,3,10, 3,7 (4 successes)

Wherever in the realms of the dead his spirit may have wandered, it will now fly back to his cast off mortal coil. Though I am already attuned to the emanations of the other world, I will not be caught unawares, refocusing my vision, I can feel my one, serpentine eye deaden as it comes to resemble the other.

2008-08-23 21:54:18 Drexl rolls 10 dice to Perc+Occ(PathOfAnnubis) 6,10,6,8,3, 5,4,8,3,8, 5 (6 successes) [Activated level one, Path of Anubis (Hermetic Sight)]

Marla, say my name. What did you just call me?
----------------------------------------------------

The corpse twitches as Agwe's spirit is sucked back into it. Nothing overt, just a flutter of eyelids, a twitch of lips.

The mouth barely moves, Agwe's tongue dry and bloated in his mouth. His voice is an airy whisper, as if someone were speaking from his stomach rather than his lips...

*'Aye Boss man..'

*Kreole.

Drexl gives a perverted smile, there is something unbelievably  satisfying about being able to prevent even the dead from escaping your divine grasp.

"Tell me a story Agwe. Tell me of the man whose hair you plucked for me tonight."

{{I'm guessing this whole conversation can be considered to be in Kreole}}

Might as well.
---------------------

'Aye Boss.' The airy voice clicks. His vocal cords are limp and his breathing non-existant.

'I dun snetch it lickety-split off da money-mans -ead. Pet on de Sholl-dah and quick with de snatch...'

Theres another few clicks from deep in Agwes throat. A twitch of his lip into a ghost of a smirk.

'He was one of dem eye-talians. A biggah bald fucker, said he wos havin de problems with his boss man an wanted me to torch da rest-aurant.'

Drexl pivots his head at an extremely serpentine angle, perplexed by the obvious contradiction.

"You took a blond hair, from the head of a bald Italian?" He pulls a stool up to the table supporting the verbose cadaver. "Your cohorts gave a somewhat differing account. Are you quite certain?"

'Positive Boss man. Dem othas were out to betray me an take mah hard earned monies...'

There is a short sound of inhale.

'Dis Eye-talian had one ah dem fancy red sports Cahs an a suit with gold on da cuff.'

Agwes dominate enforced details surface.

"You don't say." Drexl mutters in a tone that makes his  disbelief quite transparent "And how much was this precious sum of money you were so concerned with losing that you decided to try and kill Hennrick?"

Agwe hesitates; Even in death he fears Drexler.

'It was one thousan Boss... an they was goin ta betray me boss. You know I wouldnt attack da boys unprovoked!'

The airy voice takes on a shrill whistle as it tries to shout.

And well he should. In life, there are only so many things that Drexl could do to a man. In death, the possibilities multiply exponentially into infinity. The Serpent swallows its own tail. Agwe could very easily replace the tortured soul at the other end of this very room, should the mood suddenly strike the Theophidian. Of course Drexl would lead his soul into Paradise first, just so he would always have that to compare with. But Agwe knows all of this...

"It is alright my boy, everything is fine. You have given me exactly what I need. I shall see to it that you find your way through the Underworld unimpeded."

"Our time grows short, is there anything else I should know Agwe?"

Agwe seems somewhat comforted. His corpse lying perfectly still. His mouth hangs open and his tongue rolls faintly. His spirit is beginning to receed, head back to the underworld...

'Da res-teraunt Boss. I was supposed ta torch da Puttanesca. Dis is da whole story Boss man, Is all good, i speaks da truth...'

"Rest now Agwe. You have done well."

Drexl allows this fragment of the man's soul to fade off to the first of many transitory places as it awaits the rites his shell must go through to be allowed passage to his final destination. Drexl makes a call to Immaculate Transfiguration, requesting a pick-up and 'the works'.

Once Agwe has been seen to, he will busy himself with preparations for his next, more intense Augury...

As I prepare for one of my favored incantations, I make a mental note that I am running low on owl's blood, I will need to seek out a new supply soon.

Unwrapping the large obsidian mirror from its bindings, clutching the small bag with my target's hair, I quickly polish its surface before smearing it with the quick concoction which will bring its surface to life. I bring all of my formidable facilities to bear on this endeavor, I wish to drag this viewing on as long as I can. Your secrets will be mine, my little would-be usurper.

2008-08-25 22:14:22 Drexl rolls 10 dice to Int+Occ(Scry) (used willpower) 7,9,7,6,4, 9,5,5,5,5 (6 successes) [6 hours of viewing time, centered directly on Willem Uys.]

As my quarry comes into focus, any doubts as to which of the Haitians was telling me the truth are immediately reconciled. Over the next few hours, I shall study this man intently, mixing his stolen xanthous fiber into a small, waxen effigy.

(2008-08-25 22:40:51 Drexl rolls 10 dice to Perc+Craft(effigy) (Diff 5) 2,7,9,10,3, 7,9,5,8,10, 7,10,1 (9 successes)

The doll is a perfect likeness, it could almost be mistaken for a living thing. Now he will learn fear, now he will know what it is to fail.

{{Willem Uys, please get with RadiationJunkie to determine who, what and where Drexl sees and hears during his scrying}}

Obviously by his appearance, manner of dress, and choice of vehicle, this is a man of worldly goods. A man who enjoys money and power and the comforts associated with their possession. Let us see just how well he fares in their absence.

Upon a sheet of papyrus, I scratch out the image of the man in my mirror with a reed pen using the ink of a squid. When his visage is complete, a single diagonal line is drawn through it before it is spat upon.

2008-08-26 20:42:27 Drexl rolls 10 dice to Int+Occ(Bureau. Condemn.) (Diff 4)
4,3,6,4,7, 8,9,7,5,3 (8 successes) [Diff is 5(lvl 2 ritual+3), -1 for the presence of a Book of Set.]

The first of many assaults complete, Drexl turns back to the mirror, speaking to the distant image with derision and malice.

"Had you any inkling whatsoever of whom you have wronged, you might fall to your knees begging forgiveness, but in your haste you cared not who you slighted. I have only just begun with you, rich-man."
