Reina is performing her usual nighttime prowl of the park, checking on her domain, when...well, if she were still alive, she would have said her stomach was rumbling. The hunger is starting to make itself felt again, and it is best not to ignore it. Otherwise silly things like unretractable fangs show up.

With the current economic climate, or at least what she reads of it on the newspapers that the homeless around here use as blankets, it is not surprising that a lot of new faces have shown up in Rape Street Park.

Good for Reina. She chooses someone who's formed no attachments here yet, someone who won't be missed if she goes too far, loses control and kills her. Yes, that middle-aged woman sleeping in an isolated corner of the abandoned school. She will do nicely.

Checking around her for any other humans who might see what she is about to do, Reina crouches down by the woman and bends towards her neck slowly, quietly.

She bites in to the flesh of her neck, having swept back her graying blonde hair. The initial shock of the bite wakes her up with a start, but the pleasure of Reina's feeding soon sends her into a numb and happy place, and she returns to sleep as if nothing had happened. Reina takes only what she needs to be full. The woman may remember it as a particularly pleasing dream, but no trace will remain of the wound Reina has licked shut.

The ded done, Reina fades back into the shadows of the school and continues her surveillance, as she always does, night after night.
