Whisper will stride back towards the others with a speed that few have seen him use.  It's not running per say, but a very determined gait that means he is fixated on one particular thing...

Approaching Son and Yuri..

"Have either of you seen the child?  I have not seen her since earlier this morning and given the people we've encountered in this city, I'm becoming slightly concerned"

Whisper will look towards his Packmates with the hint of worry in his eyes.

Not getting an immediate response from his two packmates will push Whisper a tad closer to panic.  Going into the shadows Whisper alone will spend one Rage to quickly shift to Lupus form and sniff the air, keen on finding where Abby went.  Son and Yuri will undoubtedly notice a faint green sparkle off the runed stones on his neck.

Dodging through the shadows the worried alpha will shuffle thorugh the alleyways, nose to the ground, nose to air he will try to find this Lost Cub...

 The smell leads out of tent city and what appears to be the growing heart of the city. Concrete and cars surround you yet you are able to follow her scent, racing.

After a few intersections you realize you are outside the slums area and entering the shopping area near downtown, you have been running longer than you thought. There is no sign of your packmates behind you and turning a corner you do not think either could find you even if they were running.

After another fifteen minutes the trail seems to stop abruptly at a shop, though she is nowhere to be seen.

To passers by there is simply a wolfish dog standing outside a wholistic foods shop, but inside Whisper the blood and rage roils.  He has lost track of his charge, the one he had promised himself he would protect.  A child this soon after her first change is in a percarious position.

Through his heart he calls out to Gaia to help him, he can feel the Rage boiling up, threatening to take over..

Though the blessing of Gaia he maintains control, an agitate dog pacing outside a store, but thats all.  Whisper will walk to the nearest alley way and shift back to his Homid form and return to the shop and cautiously but quickly enter.

"Please, has anyone in here seen a young girl, around her 15th year, barefoot?"


Whisper will look around pleadingly at the employees in the store.

 "Yeah," the older lady behind the counter says. "She left a few minutes ago, was just browsing I guess."

"Think her and Kiki were talking, what you need with her," looking a bit suspiciously at the man.

Son and Yuri race after Whisper, but after several minutes, the alpha outdistances them. They try and try to find his scent, but wind up completely lost. Son paces around in the dirt, cursing under his breath, as Yuri rest against the side of a building.

"Shee'it... I wish I had one of them fancy neck'lasses. I can't track shit in this form. Not like we can go runnin' round town lookin all furry. How we spose ta keep up on two legs..."

He continues to curse under his breath, occasionally spitting in the dirt. He not actually angry at Whisper, just scared for the cub.

"I need to find her, I've lost her and I shouldn't have...*the stones around Whispers neck jostle as he looks around*...please I have to find her."

Whisper is earnestly trying to convey his worry without leading to outright panic.

"Who is this Kiki, is the cub...*growling at himself for such a mistep*..child safe?"

 The older woman catches the slip, opening an eye and looking at this man with a renewed interest.

"She is fine, why don't I show you a room you can wait in while I call her and ask, I am certain your 'sister' is alright," nodding to another lady who takes over the register. She moves to the back and opens a door for the man.

Tentatively eyeing this woman Whisper will cautiously make his way through the door in the back, scanning the entirity of the space beyond before stepping through the door.  The womans mention of the child as his "sister" piques his interest.

Whisper will go into the back of the room, and stand, cautious of his surroundings.

 The room has numerous chairs and many posters on the wall with various 'new age' stuff on them. The older lady smiles at you while she shuts the door.

"My name is Sally and I am kin. Abby is with Kiki who recently came back from LA. I will call her, we have been looking for the child for quite some time. Her mother has been hiding her from us and after the news report we assumed the worst. I am sure Kiki did not realize she had found any others. Your kind have been gone for so long we thought there were not any in the city," reaching into her pocket to retrieve a cellular phone and dialing,"I'll call her and explain."

She is an older lady with a feeling one gets from a grandmother who never does anything too quickly. She has a peaceful voice and a very calm demeanor that reassures you everything will be all right.

 She starts talking on the phone and looks up at you saying," Where are the others? They will pick you up out front in a minute. I'll see you again I'm sure," waving the man as if a child to hurry.

Whisper will be usherd as a small child from a room full of adults, as he is led back through the shop he makes note of the sights and smells of this place, verifying the safety of this small place could be very important..

Whisper will arrive on the curb shortly before a shiny automobile pulls up, and with a bit of trepidation joins the rest of his pack inside...
