So, Lydia had been in her room, painting and idly watching TV when something caught her attention...And she ran quickly toward her father's study, where he usually is.

She's covered in paint and obviously freaking out about something.

"FATHER! FATHER! I need to speak to you NOW!"

Carter is on his feet as soon as he hears Lydia running down the hall. He places whatever he was sreading back on one of the many shelves, expecting her to unload some kind of dispute with Luna...

'What is it my dear?'

Her eyes narrow and she grabs his hand, immediately dragging him down the hall to her room, where a news story is on the TV.

"You need to see this, now. There is a serious issue that must be dealt with!"

Of course, its the story about Kara... Fangs and all.

"I will do whatever is necessary to deal with this situation, Father."

And then she steps back.. Figuring that Carter is about to get very, very pissed.

She had heard Lydia scream and run to father. Instinctively, she rushes after her, half expecting Lydia to rat her out about something she did. Though, she has been quite good these past days. She skids to a stop, falling backwards, unceremoniously, onto her butt. She winces slightly, standing up. She rubs her sore tuchus as she peeks into her sister's room. Her eyes see the news and She gasps. She backs away, tempted to scurry off to the safety of her room.

Strangely, Carter does not lose his temper. Were this any other face than one of their blood he would be howling for a blood hunt. This is a first class masquerade breach and could have huge consequences whether Kara is recognized by the mortals or not...

'Lydia and Luna i want you to find Miss Miya before the mortals or sheriff do. Go to the Cathedral, she is likely to take refuge with Solomon.'

Carter will misdirect Zaine, its easy enough to send him to the Opera House and even if Kara becomes unpredictable, one of them will find her...

'Do not bring her here. If she shows up tell her i will speak with her at the warehouse where the family last gathered.'

Carter looks from eager Lydia to skittish Luna, to be sure they understand his wishes.

Luna nods her head and runs off to her room to quickly dress. She had just been lounging around in her PJ's. Five seconds later she meet her sister in the hallway. Blue jeans, tank top and tennis shoes.
"I'm ready Father," she practically salutes. She gives him a goofy grin, but sudden she becomes serious. She wonders what will happen to Kara.

Lydia was already dressed in a long black dress, simple, her hair straight and left free, mary janes on her feet... She listens intently to Carter and then heads out, waiting for Luna, then heading out.

"Should we have one of father's ghouls drive us, or walk? I'm not sure which would be more helpful in this situation."

Given the distance Screaming Willows is from the heart of the city where they are headed, walking would likely put them in danger of a sunbath...

There will be one of the dark tinted black lincolns waiting out front for the girls, with a ghoul driver to watch their backs. Carter is loathe to let them go anywhere alone...

At the sight of the waiting car, Lydia climbs in quickly, muttering to the ghoul.

"I'm sure you know, but we need to go to the cathedral, as quickly as possible."

"Step on it my good man," she follows after her sister with. She sits back and buckles up.
