((Takes place the morning after Rah'shid's abortion and Rah'shid's house @ about 10AM))

The morphine wears off on Rah'shid as he makes his way over to the factory to make sure it is more...secure.  Taking the blueprints of the factory from his little office inside and lays it out on his desk.  From his drawer he takes a pen given to him by one of the mages who instructed him durring his time away from Sanfield.  He uncaps his pen and starts writing technical specifications on the blueprints.

((extended roll, correspondence 2, matter 3, prime 1, arete 3, difficulty 5 for warding, req. 15 successes))

The sketching goes well at the start, the ink of the pen stains a deep red on the blueprints, becoming black as it dries.  The warm is slightly warmer as he has shut off the AC.  Sunlight pours into the building as he continues to draw.

He ponders a moment as he makes a few more lines in the building's prints, going back to his first page to double check on a few numbers.  Finding an error, he corrects it and moves on.

The warm begins to get uncomfortably warm as Rah'shid continues to draw, wiping a little sweat from his forehead.

The light glistens off the machines, temporarily gaining his attention, as he notes their presence in his plans.

Going through the design, he comes up with a more efficent drawing, the red ink slowly oozing out of the pen making small numbers and notes.

The sunlight now shines on the other side of his building, flooding a a bright warm glow inside.  Rah'shid dilligently continues to draw.

The warding is going well, he feels he is almost done.  Well over half of the building's blueprints are outlined and reoutlined with little notes and numbers in the strange red ink.

His work is almost done, the ink on the prints glisten with the sunlight that enters the room as he continues to draw.

Noting some missing parts in the earlier part of the drawing, he goes back and adds them in.

Moving to the last part of the building, his little office, he dilligently draws in some more markings on the blueprint.  The ink on the papers reflect the soft glow of the setting sun.  With the last stroke of his pen, his work is complete.

Rahshids defenses go up without a hitch. He will have to repower them every so often as they weaken but for now they are strong. As the effect winds down and Rahshid returns to normal thinking the backlash hits him. Its subtle at first... lines seeming odd and maybe even making him think his factory has been graffitied.

But slowly his perception will shift. he is seeing the patterns of the world around him as a blueprint... the facttory is a blue box with exploded views of whatever he focuses on popping into his vision. This obviously provides for perception difficulties and will put Rahshid at a -2 dicepool penalty to all perception rolls as well as making movement a precarious thing.

Being distracted by screw sizes and stress threshhold measurements would make running around dangerous, especially in the factory.

This flaw will wear offin a day or two and can be temporarily overcome by spending willpower for a minute of clarity per point.

Rah'shid yells as the paradox hits him.  Picking himself up off the floor, he notices everything is now looking like a blueprint.  The white lines, the measurements, he sees it all on everything.  His head throbs, he feels around his office due to his skewed preception.  He feels his stomach churn from hunger and feels the need to relieve himself.  Doing his best to move around, he feels the walls and slowly moves to the bathroom downstairs.

After using his facilities, he thinks he flushes his toilet and does what he thinks is washing his hands.  He can't really tell, all he sees are their designs.  Reaching into his pocket, he takes out his phone and takes a look at it, using his poor pradicament to some sort of advantage.  He looks over his phone, seeing if he can decypher how it was made...

Rah'shid is able to note most of its design, seeing how it works for the most part, but not perfectly enough to make an exact replica.

"Pelayo, I can't see right. I was modifying my plans for the factory and now everything I see is like...blueprints.  I need someone to pick me up."

He pauses for a moment, "I'm going to make a few calls, see if I can get someone to pick me up."

Promptly hanging up his phone, he goes back to his office and grabs a note pad and pen, examining them briefly, noting their construction.  He carefully goes down the steps and stairs at the machines.

The machines explode as blueprints to Rah'shid.  Unable to see the arms in motion, he fails to understand how they work, but he desiphers everything they are made of and how they are built.  He writes everything that he sees, making very basic sketches.  He takes his phone back out, now that he has a pad, and looks at it again.

Having looked at the phone before, Rah'shid finds it a bit easier to see.  Looking at it he can certainly see how it was made and how it works, and does his best to draw the images of what he sees., easily filling a couple of pages of the notebook.  He continues to look at various things, jotting down anything and everything he sees, waiting patiently for Pelayo to get there.

Hours pass, no Pelayo.  After pretty much drawing everthing there is in the factory, Rah'shid tries Pelayo's phone again.

A bit confused at Pelayo's reaction, he waits till he is done ranting.

"Alright, fine, I probably wouldn't be able to read the yellow pages anyway.  Just get some mechanical stuff, you have got to see this."

Not having sunglasses, he walks slowly to what he thinks is a door, and tries to step outside.  He holds his arm over his eyes as everything turns into a blue blur of little white lines.  He sits on the ground and waits for the taxi.

Pelayo clearly gave the guy a fake name. Cant have it spreading around that Rahshid Ahjar of Ahjar industries went blind...

Although he sees the cab, and personally studdies it, he remembers what Pelayo said about a "blind Arab guy".  He 'feels his way twoards the car, opening the back door and getting in.  He tells the man his address, and studdies the car as it is in motion.
