Rah'shid just pulled in his driveway when he recieves the text message. "Oh, great. Right on time," he talks to himself in a snyde sarcastic manner. He pulls out of the driveway and speeds off to his factory.

Rahshid will notice two odd things when he draws near to his factory. First, there are two black sedans parked across the street. (Watching the loft Pelayo was squatting in, if Rahshid was ever involved with that..) And second all his security lights are on. The perimeter of his factory lit up like a prison fence, but all the doors, windows and walls seem to be intact.

Pulling into the factory, he takes a quick look at the outside. He sees the two sedans, but even if they were Technocracy, he called them, so he payed little mind to them. Thinking a moment, Rah'shid considers they may have been the ones to set off the alarms. He parks and gets out of his car, taking a walk around his compount to see if he can find anything suspicious. ================================================================ Roll alert and precept 2008-09-11 17:33:02 rahshid rolls 2 dice to detect 1,5 (BOTCH x 1) ================================================================ The bright lights don't help him at all, his night vision is a bit out of wack from them and his eyes see a few splotches from the photosensitivity. He cautiously heads to the door and goes inside to take a look.

(Not too much i can do with a perception botch...) Rahshid doesnt notice a damn thing out of place outside. Of course some of the deep shadows thrown by his bright security lights could hide ninjas, elephants, or maybe M-1 Abrahms battle tanks. Rahshid will note his door was still locked, and utterly fail to notice the long scratch running from one corner to the other. As Rahshid walks inside nothing seems out of place. Whatever tripped the alarm may have just been a glitch... Or the sedans. (Except maybe assume you auto fail your next one. )No sooner does Rahshid begin to feel comfortable, perhaps even silly for this whole mess than the door slams shut behind him. A clicking hiss resounds through the entire factory and when/if he turns he will be face to face with his horribly mutated fetus child... It resembles a spider, clinging to the wall, one long, double split leg holding the door, claws digging right into the metal. Its body is segmented and has hard carpace like armor in places. Its head extends on a skinny, veiny neck. Its face has six eyes, in diagonal groupings of three, its mouth hangs open, bottom jaw horribly distended and filled with tiny fangs that drip a saliva that burns little drops into the floor. 'Daaaaaddddyyy...' It creaks, in an insectoid voice....

"Oh dear god..." Rah'shid does what any rational person would do, he runs. ================================================================= 2008-09-11 17:56:42 Rahshid rolls 3 dice to run like a bitch (used willpower) 1,10,1 (failure) dex+ath as a side note, the dice roller is hating me right now so maybe we should put this off til tomorrow, when it may be merciful. ================================================================= He won't get to far, the flashing lights keep him from darting all the way to the back, but he is a bit closer.

The Creature clicks with anger as Rahshid tries to make a stumbling escape. 2008-09-11 18:19:09 Radiation rolls 7 dice to IT, Jump str+ath 9,5,3,3,9, 8,9 (4 successes) The thing rears back against the wall, sinewy muscles on its eight appendages launching it high and far to land directly in Rahshids path. The thing rears back on four legs, its upper appendages reaching out and its head raising high as if ready to pounce... 'Daaadddddyyyy?' It repeats, in a harsher clicking voice.

Rahshid watches in horror as the beast jumps in the air. He reaches for his phone and presses the send key on it. ================================================================= Activate machines: corr 2, coincidental, -1 for phone foci 2008-09-11 18:31:35 Rahshid rolls 3 dice to activate machines (Diff 4) 4,4,5 (3 successes) ((will edit if incorrect)) ================================================================= After pressing the send button on his phone, the factory comes to life. The arms of the machines surrounding him begin their work of making parts. He hopes the creature gets confused, or possibly injure itself on one of the arms.

Looks fine to me. ------------------------ 2008-09-11 18:39:18 Radiation rolls 3 dice to It, dexterity check 1,1,2 (BOTCH x 2) Ouch... Creature takes 2 lethal damage and is pinned until it succeeds at a strength check (2 successes needed) to rip off its arm and free itself. The sudden whirring and spinning fo the machines confuses the Creature who, lashing out manages to entangle an appendage in a machine. There is a high pitched screech from both the jamming machine and the wounded creature. The thing is jerked to the side and pinned in the iron grip of the machine; clearing a path for Rahshid to get to his office, or a backdoor. --Last edited by Radiationjunkie on 2008-09-11 20:38:00 --

Rah'shid winces a little as the creature gets smacked by the machine. Realizing he has an opening, he heads for his office, closing the door behind him and locking it. Standing by the window he takes his cell and does his best to get a picture of the beast. ================================================================= Rahshid rolls Int and Computers to activating fire preventing vacume 2008-09-11 19:03:37 Rahshid rolls 5 dice to activate vacume 7,10,3,8,1 (2 successes) ================================================================= Air starts to pump out of the factory floor, making the air thinner and hard to breath. In about a minute the floor will be airless, and a vacume created. He included the vacume incase of a fire, such a factory would be extremely hard to put out if there was an inernal fire. So since fire needs air to be sustained, sucking it out would put out the fire. And since living things need air, he hoped it would either sufficate or run away. He was going to need to hit Pelayo over the head for this one...

2008-09-11 19:11:07 Radiation rolls 5 dice to strength check 6,9,8,8,5 (4 successes) With a mighty surge of strength the creature tears its ensnared arm off at the shoulder. There is a spray of chunky red blood that sizzles on the metal. 2008-09-11 19:17:27 Radiation rolls 6 dice to Screech +2 diff due to lack of air (diff8) 9,1,2,5,9, 6 (1 success) Rahshid plz roll a soak vs 1 bashing. The creature lowers its head and drops its jaw, screeching in a high enough pitch to crack the dials and guages on the machinery in the factory. Lucky for Rahshid his window is plastic, and he will only feel the sonic effects ringing in his head... --Last edited by Radiationjunkie on 2008-09-11 21:24:19 --

2008-09-11 19:29:29 Rahshid rolls 2 dice to soak bashing 10,9 (2 successes) ================================================================= Rah'shid quickly cups his ears as soon as the creature starts to howl. As soon as it is finished he gets to his desk and access the robot arms. There was no way he could take the thing out on foot or by conventional means, plus this kind of reminded him of Aliens. Power loader versus Alien queen. Except in this case, it was robot arms versus weird male born fetus spider thing. ================================================================= 4 tech 3 int to attack with robot arms 2008-09-11 19:35:43 Rahshid rolls 7 dice to attack with robot arms (Diff 7) 10,6,7,7,5, 9,9 (5 successes) 2008-09-11 19:37:59 Rahshid rolls 7 dice to damage 2,10,2,6,9, 6,10 (5 successes) 5 bashing damage for soak ================================================================= --Last edited by Rahshid on 2008-09-11 21:39:42 --

2008-09-11 19:41:56 Radiation rolls 5 dice to Soak 7,5,3,2,2 (1 success) Creature takes four bashing. Has taken Six levels of Damage. (2 lethal, 4 bash.) 2008-09-11 19:42:05 Radiation rolls 5 dice to Mutate 7,3,9,2,3 (2 successes) Needed 4, no useful mutation... As Robotic arms lash out and stroke the creature it panics. Lashing outt right and left it really only succeeds in taking more blows. Its carpace cracks and opens in places it is struck, rapid mutation forming its smooth carpace armor into hard lumps. The creature spins left and right, utterly confused, injured and frightened. 'Daaaddddyyyy?' It calls out once more before leaping straight up and smash clean through the cieling whether that was its intention or not... 2008-09-11 19:47:31 Radiation rolls 7 dice to Jump (strength and athletics) (used willpower) 10,8,6,10,4, 7,10 (7 successes) --Last edited by Radiationjunkie on 2008-09-11 21:49:04 --

Rah'shid gasps as the creature goes clear through the roof, amazed at its strength. It was...intresting. He could see why Pelayo would want to study it, but it was too dangerous, playing with too much fire. he slumps low in his box of an office, praying that the creature left for good.

2008-09-11 20:00:03 MIB rolls 5 dice to spot the creature 9,2,2,4,8 (2 successes) --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rahshid will hear a series of odd plinks and pops. Small holes form all along the upper wall of his factory and a few errant bullets ricochet around the machinery, one even embedding itself in the plastic that seperates his office from the rest of hte factory.

The bullet is a quick message to Rahshid that he wasn't safe there still. He keeps low to the ground, makes his way to the door, keeping prone. Opening the door to his factory, he slides down the stairs on his back, trying to stay as low as possible. It was risky what he was about to do, but it was necessary for beating the thing that attacked him. He makes his way twoards the arm caught in the machine, tinkering with the wiring quickly to get it released. =================================== Int+Tech to release arm 2008-09-11 20:12:17 Rahshid rolls 7 dice to release arm 7,1,6,8,1, 5,3 (1 success) =================================== He works wel enough to get it to drop the arm, watching it drop to the floor with a squishy thud. It would be impossible to carry it outside the lab at the moment, too risky, it needed to be hidden. Taking it up to the office, he hides it under a box, hoping that if anyone searched the lab until he fixed it or moved it, it would go unnoticed.

The shooting is brief. Rahshid hears a few more scattered pops and clicks, like they are all using automatic, suppressed weapons. In a moment he will hear cars peeling out, apparently the MiBs are chasing after the creature... Or at least one group is.

"Now is a bad time to stick around." He thinks to himself. After hiding the arm, he makes his way downstairs, peeking out the window to see what happened, and if he could make a get away.

Dozens upon dozens of brass bulletshells litter the area where the Sedans had been parked. They glitter in the security lights like distant gold... The coast looks clear, but Rahshid can be sure the MiB's will return.

He takes a chance, he opens the factory front door and bolts for his car, hoping to God it wasn't hit and still worked. ================================================================= Dsaarbker (10:45:30 PM): does my car work? TaxicabxMessiahx (10:45:38 PM): why wouldnt it? Dsaarbker (10:45:45 PM): full auto TaxicabxMessiahx (10:45:58 PM): they were aiming high, your car should be fine unless it was on the roof Dsaarbker (10:46:41 PM): never know added as proof the car is fine ================================================================= He starts his car and heads home, the only safe place he could go at the moment, looking forward to a good night's rest. --Last edited by Rahshid on 2008-09-11 22:43:08 --
