After her meeting with her newly-named primogen, Deirdre heads for the Banshee.  Opening the door of the unassuming facade and stepping inside is like passing into one of the ancient mounds of the sidhe of her homeland's native myth.  Lights and splendor crash and clash in a frenetic dazzle.  On the dance floor, a multitude of hot sweaty bodies writhe like a nest of snakes.  The smell of sex and warm-blooded youthful rebellion is redolent in the air.  

If Deirdre had the time or immediate inclination, she could spend the entire night in this place.  Not one for dancing much, but just the people-watching would make an interesting experience itself.  And the hunting...

But she doesn't have time for that now.  As she walks up to the bouncer at the front she shouts over the manic synth-pop beats "I'm here to see Ms. Damita!"

*The bouncers are outside and you have to get through them to get in. Mention of Ms. Damita though does get their attention pretty quickly. The large male nods to the smaller female who focuses on Deirdre.* Name please. *She pulls out a cellphone and waits for the name.*

"Deirdre McNevan," she answers.  Hopefully Bellisa will recognize the name.  

*The call button is pressed as the female moves away from Deirdre leaving her with the man of steel. A few words are exchanged and then the female returns.* Follow me.

*Deirdre is led inside the club (Descrïption in Banshee forum) through the throngs of people and towards a spiral staircase. She is motioned up.* Go to the door labeled VIP and let yourself in. She will be with you shortly.

*Bellisa recognized the name of course and allowed her entry. She sat in her office which was adjoined to the VIP lounge by a single door. She finished her other call and wrote a note or two on her calendar desk blotter before rising and straightening herself. She wears a royal purple corset style dress that reaches mid-thigh, matching heels and her dark hair is short and spiky. She fits the club though obviously she doesn't wear this sort of thing outside of it.

She enters the VIP lounge after giving Deirdre a moment to get there.* Good Evening. *She offers a polite smile and motions to the bar and then the seating.* A drink perhaps and feel free to sit down.

*Bellisa herself takes a seat in a white armchair that matches the loveseat. Two other wing chairs are present in red and a large leather ottomon that serves as a coffee table sits in the center.*

"Thank ye," Deirdre says, seating herself.  "I'm sorry we haven't been more...formally...introduced.  I seen ye 'round, but haven't really taken the opportunity t' say anythin'.  Truth is, I d'nae get out too much and spend time with me fellow..." she trails off a little.  It's always been an odd thing to her to say the fact of her nature out loud.  "In any case, I'm Deirdre.  I...remember ye spoke up fer me at the Elysium meetin' afore last.  I wanted t' thank ye."

*She seems relaxed in her seat and studies the girl.* Then you are done sulking over spilt blood and not working on killing everyone off in revenge? *A brow arches up and a faint smile moves across her lips. She does not say your welcome because she really didn't do anything except speak her mind.*

" 'Twas an emotional outburst.  I c'nae say I'm done grievin' 'r that I still don't hold ill-will fer the one's involved.  But...I'm not me brother.  I d'nae believe in washin' streets red wi' blood o'er me own pain.  But, I 'spose I owe ye me life on some account."  She shifts a little.  She's trying not to look over Bellisa's figure too much.  Ever since that night with Lenor, something's kicked up in her undead sex drive and she can't quite explain it.  It's not something she's really felt before.

"In any case, I'm here t' ask a question of ye in yer more...formal position as the city's Keeper o' Elysium."

I suppose I will call on you some day to return the favor. *she explains easily, her voice smooth like honey as she sways her heeled foot slowly.* It's hard to lose family even if you don't agree with their actions, even if you're dead now. Emotions never die.

*Her brow raises curiously and her head tilts slightly.* Well ask your question then dear.

Inwardly, she stifles something between a groan and a sigh.  She had a feeling that if she acknowledged the favor done, it would put her in the woman's debt.  But she figured it would be better to have a debt acknowledged than ingratitude owed.

"I had an idea, which I already brought t' Mr. Arturo's attention.  T' hold a Halloween ball fer the Kindred o' the city.  I own a small club meself, Thorns.  We're undergoin' repairs right now but it should all be ready in time fer Halloween.  An' I was thinkin' o' holdin' th' event there.  Though Mr. Arturo brought up the issue o' security, and suggested I discussed it wi' ye first."

*She nods slowly at the girl and thinks a moment.* You came to me to discuss security? You wish me to provide guards or are you thinking something else? *Of course she knows exactly what the woman is implying but prefers things to be specific.*

"Well, I'm not sure exactly what all can be arranged.  Thomas was concerned 'bout how safe the location could be made...guards an' th' like.  An' he mentioned 'bout perhaps declarin' the place as an Elysium fer the night.  It's a fairly small place...not much area needs t' be covered as far as guards an' th' like."

I am not a fan of declaring Elysium to other places... I think with three Elysium choices people should be more then pleased and able to use those spaces. *She studies the girl as she speaks then leans back and folds her arms over her chest.* Do you think many are even going to show up to a small club for a Halloween party? I mean of course the ones who visit there regularly will and they obviously see no need for extra security.

"I was hoping t' make this a ball open t' all the Kindred o' the city.  Seems we only get t'gether fer bad news 'n' such.  I'd think 'haps we'd need th' 'ccasion t' mingle withou' th' weight o' business 'n' war plans hangin' o'er our heads.  I suggested me place 'cause o' an appropriate atmosphere, 'n' since we're preparin' to re-open soon I figerred 'tmight be nice t' open it t' our kind first.  Apparently th' rest o' the buildin' is unowned.  I'm sure we can spread into it fer the night, set up some private areas an' such.  An' I was only thinkin' o' namin' it as an Elysium fer th' one night.  I take it other places have had the same...honor...bestowed on 'em."

Actually no, none have so far. *She states coolly and shakes her head.* I think you're going to be sorely disappointed if you hold your party at Thorns. I can think of a number of our kind who won't go near the slums.

If you wish to hold a proper Halloween ball you should do so at the Palace Theater which has already been secured properly well in advance. The Elders would join in then and it would really be a get together for ALL kindred in the city. I would of course drop out formal dress code for the night so people can dress up or down for the occasion AND allow you an announcement and posters to promote your club. I will even provide a few door prizes for the event if you so wish.

*She is not going to tell the girl of the message to refuse Deirdre's request even before the girl arrived. She stands now, smoothing the dress over her thighs before walking to the window, looking down over the crowd with arms folded under her breasts. She will give the girl time to choose her next words wisely.*

She knew getting the club chosen as the site for the ball was a long shot.  One she was willing to try for, even if she had a feeling of the outcome.  So she's not too incredibly disappointed here.  She can't expect a meteoric rise from bottom to top, and her current climb has been rather more fortunate than she had hoped.

"The Palace shall be fine then, long as I'm least given due credit fer the event," she says as humbly and graciously as she can.  "An' if ye like as well, I can provide fer appropriate music fer the occassion."

*She turns and smiles at the girl.* I'm impressed you took that so well and yes this shall be YOUR event, you may plan everything except security of course. I shall attend of course, be sure proper invitations are sent out child, Elders do not like to be invited by posters.
*She leans against the glass, her hands now clasped behind her back.*
Now tell me, you obviously have fight in you, will you join us in the fight against the Sabbat?

I see. *Perhaps a bit of disappointment or is it disapproval of the girl not being able to hold her own.*

You know many a city has fallen and the fates of those in it has depended upon their readiness. My suggestion if you wish to live to see Elder status is to build yourself up. *Her words soft, not lecturing, merely a warning.*

"I have thought o' that meself.  Though I wouldn't quite know where to start, aside from headin' down t' a shootin' range a few nights a week.  But I'm not the...most physically capable, as ye can see."

*She looks the girl over a moment critically.* I was a proper lady once you know. I did not rule armies at first, I had to work for it. It takes time and hard work but these are skills you're going to need someday. Unless you want to be in debt to people who save your ass all the time. *A brow raises in curiosity.* or... if you want to perish.
