Henk Smit walks into his store after having a coffee break in one of the shops downtown. When he walks into his store he gets a smile on his face. He likes the way the place is decorated after he redid the layout. Henk hopes that the bypassing pedestrians will notice the place and enjoy the new Book Store in town.

He then leaves a note on the counter saying: 'Ring the bell on the counter if you need help. I am in the back.' and then disapears into the back of the store to work on something.

Sean walks in front of the book store looking threw the windows, He opens the door quietly and walks around looking at all the new things in the store. When he realizes the only person working is in the back, he begins filling his bag with books. He takes another quick look around before he takes the bell off of the counter dropping it into his bag.

As the bell hits the books in his bag it rings once most likely letting him know that sean is in his store.

He walks quickly out the door grabbing the Open/closed sign off of the door before he runs down the street.

As Henk comes out of the back after hearing the bell he hears the door closing and sees a person with a bag running off. Henk immediately runs to the door, opens it and starts chasing the robber. He sees the man is around 100 pounds and in his 20s. Henk isn't one of the fastest around though the bag with books slows the robber down and Henk is gaining up on the robber.

Sean looks back and ses that the man is chasing him, he immediatly drops to his knees and puts his hands over his face sobbing extremely loud.

In between big fake sobs he can hear "...six kids.....need to feed them....im sorry."

Henk catches the robber and puts his hand on the man's shoulder.
"So you thought you could steal books?" He asks in an urging voice. "Give me that bag with books back."

He receives the bag with books, bell and sign back.

"So you don't have your own job? Is that because you need to steal? Where do you live, and do you really have 6 kids or is that one of the tricks that robbers use to get what they want anyway?"
Henk looks at the robber with a strict look.

Every time Henk reaches for the bag sean jerks it just another inch from his hand, like a bully with a smaller kids lunch box.

"Why you gotta be doubten me man. I said i have six kids, why cant you believe that?"

He shakes the mans hands off his shoulders.

"There names are Shante, Jimmy, Dan, Cornealius, and little Suzy man...."  Sean counts mouths the names and counts on his hand. "O yea i forgot about Joey."

He gets back to his feet

"But if you dont mind i have a job search to be getting back too."

Sean puts his right hand out to shake his while placing the bag on his shoulder. "It was nice meeting you sir." He says with a big smile.

Henk gets more annoying every time Sean pulls away the bag a little more.
"You say you need a job." Henk said slowly, thinking about his store. "You did steal some books though you have some children to feed. I am not saying you did a good thing, in fact stealing is not allowed in society."
Henk pauses for a moment.

"But since I still need personel, what do you think about working in my book store?"
Henk is not sure if he should do this as the person just robbed the store. Though he could use the personel, a bit like a Win-Win situation.

"If you give me back the bag and work in my store I'll give you some money ahead so that you can feed your kids. What do you say?" Henk said with a convinced voice.

Sean looks at Henk very confused, no ones ever caught him stealing and tried to hire him.

He opens his bag and begins handing over books, he gives him back 8 books and then the sign and bell. After that he extends his hand to shake obviusly forgetting that henk is holding eight books a bell and sign.

"Sounds like a good deal man, johnny and shaniqua will realy thank you for the ham steak for dinner."

Sean digs into his bag pulling out a name tag from taco bell that says "Tyrone" He pins it in his shirt and smiles to Henk.

Henk counts the books as he gets them handed over.
"I can only count 8 books, but I really can't hold anymore. Why don't we go back to the store and put them back in the bookcases. Once everything is back to normal I'll give you the money I promised to give you ahead for working in my store."

Henk motions to Sean to follow him.
"Now the first thing I want you to promise me is to not steal anything alright? It's a bad thing." Henk says as he tried to learn Sean a few things.
"So your name is Tyrone or is that a stolen name tag?" Henk asks with an urging tone.

Sean laughs, "its not stolen, it was my cousins, im not sure why i have it.."

He follows Henk towards the book store, "My name sean, my friends call me sean."

Sean pulls half of a dirty cigarette missing its filter out of his bandana and lights it up taking 3 drags of it before putting it out and back into his bandana, before he enters the store.

"An odd way to meet and hire people, but nice to meet you Sean. My name is Henk. Henk Smit to be precise. As you might have noticed I am the owner of Smit's Book Store." Henk says in a polite manner. "If you can put the books in the bookcases I'll just get you something."

Henk walks to the door and hangs back the open/close sign, then walks to the counter and puts the bell back. After that he walks off to the back. Within the minute Henk is back and he appears to hold something alluminium in his hand.

"It's probably a bit cold by now, but it's still really good." Henk hands him the alluminium wrapped object. "It's a steak I made for myself, but I'm not hungry anymore after all that running. You can have it."

Henk then pulls his wallet out of his backpocket and takes out some money. "Here you go, 100$. But you have got to promise me that you won't pull any nasty tricks on me." Henk said a bit insecure before he reaches out to Sean to hand him the money.

Sean looks at the 100 dollars with bug eyes, "Wow man, your realy generous, thank you so much."

Sean pulls a wooden carved ring of his finger, with a carving of a tree with a face on it.

He places it on the counter, "to prove im coming back to work off the money, man, dont give it back 'till i work off all of it."

Henk shakes Seans hand.
"It's nice that it worked out this way. I'm looking forward to seeing you here. I will put that ring somewhere safe in the back so that I can find it once I am going to give it back." Henk says with a smile on his face. He is happy that the situation came out to getting him the first member of his staff.

"In about one and a half months you'll have worked off the money I payed you in advance. I'll give you your ring back then. After that you're free to work here for as long as you'd like." Henk says before he turns the Open/Closed sign to Closed. "I'm going to close the shop now though. I hope your kids are happy to see you can buy them some food."
Henk smiles at Sean while he walks around closing down the store.

Seans bag will randomy strart playing a song.

I like big BUTTS! and I can not lie!...

While Henk is closing down the store he aims his attention on the bag.
"Whats that tune?" he asks Sean. "It seems to come from your bag."

Sean looks around the store confused, before looking threw his bag, pulling out a small, pink flip phone.

"Who the hell's phone is this?" He says to Henk laughing.

He answers the phone, "crustys abortion house you rape 'em, we scrape 'em, Randy speaking."

Henk looks really confused at Sean as he answers the phone.
He softly laughs at the 'joke' he pulled off, on the other side it's a bit brutal to the people on the other side. Henk keeps silent and keeps looking at Sean as he is speaking on the phone.

'Jesus christ man. Its Orphen, Where you at? get your hippy ass over to the Banshee. this place is effed up and i need some help getting a better read on it if you catch my drift.'

Orphen is hard to hear over the loud music and jeering people...

"You've got it snoop dizzle!" Sean shouts into the phone before hanging up.

He turns to Henk, "What do you say about some recreation? get away from the books for a bit, hey maybe even pick up some girls?" He says with a wink and a punch in the arm.

"Lets lock this popsicle stand up and go see this town!" He spreads his arms wide looking up at the ceiling and yells "Viva las..sanfield rock baby!"

"Naah, you go have fun. I need to make sure there's going to be a security system installed here." Henk smiles at Sean. "And I also need to do some more study."

Henk shuts down the rest of the store and then turns the Open/Closed sign around. It now says "Closed".

"Help yourself he says to Sean as he walks to the reading corner." I'll be over here if you need me.
