*The shop catches his sight. It's been a long day, a day of walking around trying to get aquainted with new surroundings. He took a wrong turn and ended up here...some guy swore that two blocks East would take him to 'Ting-Tong's Thai Restaurant'...or was that West...or South....crap, he always did get mixed up with East and West and....

Dark eyes scan over the name before he lets himself in. In an instant he is hit by the aroma of old books. A smile.

He walks inside, fidgetting slightly. This is no place to be dressed the way he is, tiny skirt, thigh-high socks, all that good stuff that makes you look bad. Never the less books cannot judge you. Books can be a good friend.

Hesitently he walks over to one of the shelves and begins searching through Old English poetry, making almost no noise.*

*It seems like this one is always in here* Hey Henk! *She calls out as she enters, she doesn't even check to see if he's there, just runs herself to the fiction section to see what's new. She's dressed in skin tight leather pants, a nice low cut maroon top and slip on high heels, her hair is done up in a loose bun*

*Lenore's voice shatters the otherwise silence in the shop. Daisy flinches visibly, in shock at the scream and drops the book he was holding on the ground. With a harsh thud it falls and opens before his feet.*

*She hears the book fall in the isle near hers and ducks her head around the corner and peers at Daisy* Everything alright? *She gives him a light grin, cute, though somewhat confusing, she likes that*

*He kneels to get the book, reaches for it and spots a red head peeking from around the corner. He gasps and falls back on his back-side.* Shit...*he utters under his breath, then looks at Lenor from under strands of dark hair.* Imok *he murrmers quite quickly.*

What was that? *She giggles and steps around, holding her own dainty hand out to help him up* Sorry, didn't mean to surprise you, I didn't know I was so scary. *She chuckles*

*He hesitates before finally reaching for Lenor's offered hand, and rises* Yer not so scarry...*a single-shouldered shrug* it's just that yer voice...*he looks down at his feet then back to her* was so loud and I was just reading...guess I was so engrosed in this book I forgot I wasn't 'lone.

*his skirt sits messily around his legs, the frills swaying angrily around skinny limbs.*

*She bites her lower lip and grins* Sorry, I should think before I yell out like that, normally  there isn't anyone else in here at this time *Her silken voice trails off as she looks over the book he was reading* you like poetry?

*He's holding the book to his chest. A nod* Uh huh...I think it's real nice *his eyes light up* some of it's so dark and brooding yet romantic. *He lifts a pale hand and brushes a stray strand of hair out of his eyes* you read much?

Maybe you could show me some good books? *He looks down, noticing his messy skirt and begins to fix the folds so that it falls nicely again.* I'm Daisy by the way...*he holds out a hand, he's quite androgynis looking, most, if not all, would se ehim and think he is a girl.*

A long day of exploring the various parts of the city hasn’t done much to wear out this Pastor, but when in passing he notices the words “Book Store”, he can’t help himself but stop and have a look. Pushing open the door slowly, he steps inside quietly, looking around with a growing smile. There was something satisfying about an old musty book store. Something peaceful…

*Her own hand rests in Daisy's, she snickers at him and nods*I'm Lenor. It depends on what you like..*Her silken voice flows through out the small store* Tolkien is always a favorite of mine.

*Dasiy's dark eyes move to the door as it opens, and watches as the man enters.* Uhh...*he looks back to Lenor* hi Lenor, *he smiles* Tolkien's cool *a nod* are you named after that girl in Poe's The Raven?

*Then he begins to quote it softly, perposly lowering his voice and making it sound mockingly-spooky.*
Ah, distinctly I remember it was in the bleak December,
And each separate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor.
Eagerly I wished the morrow; — vainly I had sought to borrow
From my books surcease of sorrow — sorrow for the lost Lenore —
For the rare and radiant maiden whom the angels name Lenore —
           Nameless here for evermore

I think Poe's cool....kinda spooky though, but I guess that's what makes him so cool *another nod and a light one-shouldered shrug*

Hey, will you show me some of the books you like...I'd like to buy a few, *he holds the book he's chosen close* along with this one, to yanno....help me get through those dark and stormy nights. *His smile is sweet, the kind tht may make you melt delightfully.*

Though he is dressed more casually, he still dons that white priest’s collar, for what he thinks if a good reason, even if it makes him an easy target in certain parts of the city. He looks around as he walks inside, taking in the shelves of books. He notices, and what he at first mistakes for, two girls talking not too far off. With no intention of disturbing them, but being far too friendly to ignore either, he gives them a smile and a “Good evening.”

*He looks at the Rev. and silently yips, almost falling to his knees and asking how many Hail Mary's he'd need to save himself this time.* Hullo...*he utters to the man and lifts his hand to offer him a delicate wave. He shuffles his feet feeling underdressed in front of a man of the cloth.*

You've got a great tongue for poetry, Daisy, my mom is a Poe fanatic, it happens *She chuckles and starts to turn* Yeah I'll show my fav...*She blinks and looks up as Desmond, a wide grin spreads across her face in recognition* Desmond! *She chuckles delightedly and moves to give him a hug* My goodness it's good to see you!

Lucky for Daisy he isn't a Catholic priest. No threats of Hail Mary's. He blinks in surprise when he suddenly recognizes Lenor. His eyes widen. "Lenor?" He returns the hug when she comes over, chuckling. "It is good to see you too. I should have known this would be your kind of place."

*He looks between the two, taking a step back and just regarding how someone like Len could know someone like the Rev.*

*She chuckles and gives a light blush, hugging him tight* Yeah, been coming here since it opened. *She grins and steps back, nodding to Daisy* This is Daisy, we just met. Daisy, this is Desmond, an old friend of mine from another state. Wow Des you look great! When did you get into town? And WHAT are you doing in this city? *She can't help but grin brightly, a new friend and an old friend, this is a good night*
