*He pulls the book out of the bag and hands it to her before plopping down next to her. He reads over her shoulder as she writes.* You aint gonna write your phone number? *he coos and taps the cover of the book* How am I gonna be able to call you and tell you the book is good if I dont have your number...I don't know how to make smoke signs like Indians do.

*Daisy tucks his legs under him, sitting Indian-style. He fixes his skirt around his legs then places the bag on his lap.*

*She grins at him and offers a card instead, it has her name, her radio name, the station's name and number, and written in pen under it all is her cell number* There you go, wouldn't want to write something in here that might change, would I?

*He takes the car and looks it over* Nope *he slips it in the book and shuts it* maybe we can go for coffee some day...*he looks t her shyly* I'm new in town and don't really know no one yet...*then he lowers his voice* I'd like someone ta hang out with...I mean if that's ok.

*She grins brightly and blushes a tad* I would absolutly love to Daisy, you name the time and place. Or well, so long as it isn't earlier than 7 pm. I sleep all day long.

*He smiles big and cheery* Cool! Well, I just got a job workin' over at a club called the Banshee, in the gift shop, workin' a few nights a week, supposed to be there on Friday, so if you're free tomorrow we could do somethin'. *He doesn't mention his other job. What would she think if he were to mention he is also working as a stripper at the White Rabbit? He feels too shy to mention it.*

*She grins and nods* Tomorrow it is, Daisy. *She closes her book and looks him over, then calls out* Desmond? *She stands* Did you get yourself lost? I'm leaving.

Desmond's head peeks around a book shelf, looking around a moment as he adjusts his glasses. "Ah, nope, not quite lost." Quirking a smile to her. "Oh, you're going?" He walks back over. "I am glad to have run into you, at least. You should come see the church some time, I have been spending a lot of time fixing it up. It really was in a deplorable shape when I arrived."

Maybe I can help. *She hands Des one of her cards* Give me a call some time *She moves to hug the man tightly* It really was great seeing you again

He takes the card with a smile, sliding it into a pocket. "Alright." Giving her a hug in return. "You too, Lenor. I will see you later, yes?" Stepping back with one of his happy-go-lucky grins.

*She gives him a light kiss on the cheek, nods* I hope so, you better call me when or if you need help. See ya Daisy *She give him a wink, then heads out of the shop*

"I will. Take care!" He calls after her as she heads out.

*He stands up and collects his stuff* Later, Len *he offers the girl a finger-wave and clutches the books to his chest. He pauses and looks at the Rev and offers him a bye, as well.* G'bye, dude.

*He quickly ducks out of the shop heading home. He can't wait to crack the books open and start reading...it'll get his mind off of stuff, uh huh...sure it will.*

"Good bye." He says with a smile to Daisy as well as he leaves. He lingers for a little while longer before he heads out of the shop himself.
