*Palm open her eyes scan over the small diamonds. Her skin is streaked with red; gore and glitter...what a contradiction.

She looks back towards the man, orbs rising, lashes fluttering, he is no more. Her fingers curve over the rocks, a look of regret passing over her face momentarily. Live and dead...what a fine balence they keep, one without the other would not be so beautiful.

She kneels and begins to scoop up almost every single diamond on the floor...and they are many. She places then in the folds of her skirts, like a maiden gathering flowers.

The material feels heavy as she rises and walks away. A pause...don't Eddy...don't. She looks over her shoulder, one last glance at him, then before emotion can take over gentle footsteps lead her out...Eddy I told you not to look back.

Kara stops at the door of the shop, pulls out one gun again and pops the last few bullets in whatever glass has remained. A million constillations have shattered.

Then she quickly heads to her car, a few diamonds escaping her dress, creating some shimmery trail that some phantom Hansel can follow...a trail that will lead him to the darkest reals of her brain.*
