Solomon enters the church, smiling warmly.

"I found myself in the neighborhood."

He appears as the same middle-aged bum Quade met at the cathedral, though he's sporting a dirty trench coat and rain soaked fedora.

"Wonderful. Well, I am glad to see you." He says with a smile as he reaches for the other man's hand for a moment. "I was just trying to clear out a bit of the mess in back. As you can see, there is still quite some work to be done."

"Well, I have a few hours to spare and would like to help in anyway I can..."

He walks further into the church, inspecting the progress.

"Oh, well, let me see..." The preacher thinks for a moment. "Maybe you can help me organize these books back here. I think I have made a dreadful mess of it." Leading him into the office, which indeed is a mess right now, stacks of books and papers everywhere in an attempt to organize them.

"You know, I have been concerned about the walls outside, and constant graffiti. I would hate to be painting over it all the time... I am considering getting a mural painted out there. What do you think?"

"I think a mural would be amazing... blank walls... blank minds..."

Solomon's attention drifts for a moment as he paces off in a daydream. He snaps back, spinning to face the Reverend.

"And I could definitely organize your books for you... I am good with puzzles... and patterns..."

He nods, watching Solomon a moment as he seemed to be drifting... but says nothing until he seems to come back. He smiles.

"Oh, good! I am never certain where to start." He gathers up a pile of heavy bound books and offers them up for starters. There are a line of shelves, just waiting to be organized, and they both set about the task of doing just that.

Solomon goes through the jumble of books in a obsessive-compulsive daze. Books are sorted and stacked in an overly complicated system, taking into account the title, author's name, genre, print date, number of pages, style of cover [hard or soft], color of cover, height, width, and language of the book.  

By the end the room is mostly cleared up as all the books are now neatly on the shelves. Desmond is left astonished at Solomon's handywork.

"Amazing. You really do have a knack for this sort of thing." He smiles and pats the man genially on the back. "I couldn't have done better myself. Thank you very much."

Solomon seems embarrassed for a moment, rubbing his hands together and looking at his feet.

"I do my best..."

He seems to become aware of his awkward behavior. He composes himself and looks to the Reverend.

"What else can I do to help?"

"Well, this was what I had planned to get done tonight," He chuckles. "but, there are a few lights in the building I wanted to fix before I go. Other than that, maybe you can help come up with ideas for a mural?"

"Uh... I am sorry to say I know little of light bulbs... and I am no painter..."

Solomon looks bashful, pacing off and rubbing his hands.

"Well that is alright." Desmond smiles all the same. "I am sure I will think of something more." He watches him a moment as he moved away, but he seems busy so he takes that time to look around and think about what else needs to get done.

Solomon turns back to the Reverend, speaking some what hesitantly.

"I... I have matters that require my attention... I.... I'm sorry... I will return again, soon."

Desmond turns to him again, simply smiling. "Of course. I am glad you stopped by. Stay safe, my friend."

"You as well... I will see you soon."

With that, Solomon turns and quickly vanishes into the dark night.
