The pale moonlight reaches down, brushing the cracked stones and splintered beams, illuminating the ruins like the carcass of a once great giant, left out for the carrion birds. Dust clouds shift and flow over the debris, the only evidence of movement. Solomon picks his way slowly through the scene, eyes scanning the area like a hawk. He has come here tonight to investigate. His sword rests in its sheath, unused. He will not need it, not until the trial is decided and sentences must be carried out.

Solomon would find the church looking better than he might have expected. It is still gutted, but someone took great care to clean up after the bombing and start putting things back in order.

Sadly the work was never finished, as the Pastor was found in a local park wearing nothing but a skin sizzling layer of bleach.

Searching around Solomon would be able to infer that the blast originated from the bathroom. The damage seems to have spread from there, funneled into the main aprt of the building by the stronger outer walls.

Solomon enters the remains of the bathroom, centering himself as best he can to the blast zone. He crouches in the dust, placing on palm on the cold stone floor. His other hand reaches up towards whats left of the ceiling. Clearing his mind, he reaches out with his senses.

Solomon gets a quick psychic snapshot in the back of his eyes. For a split second he sees a man with no distinguishing features setting the bomb behind the toilet tank. The strange thing Solomon will pick up on was that this man is entirely indifferent to the people he is about to kill. There was no rage, anger or hatred in this act of violence.

Dropping to his haunches, Solomon gazes at the stains of soot and ash marring the rubble. He had hoped that his empathic insights would lead him to the culprit. Seems like it won't be that simple.

His gut is telling him that this lead is exhausted. If he is going to uncover this mystery, he will need information from a different source. Undaunted, Solomon exits the church, vanishing into the cold night.
