So, I've been thinking for awhile about bringing Deirdre's sire into the game.  Perhaps not immediately, but within the next month or two perhaps.  She has the "Sire's Resentment" flaw, which aside from being a part of her background, has never really come into the play within the game itself.  So I was wondering if maybe someone would be interested in taking up the character.  I'd have to talk with you in detail about the background relationship between him and Deirdre.  Anyways, let me know.

Id like to add that depending on the calibre of player who wants to take on this character [you will need to be accepted by both Tara and myself] I would allow you to create a character of sufficient age and generation to have sired Deirdre. This is a chance to pick up an Ancillae Toreador that already has ties to the game.

I'm hoping this character will be an opening for some good psycho-drama.  This isn't going to be a simple "sire wants to destroy childe/childe wants to destroy sire" kind of thing.  Without going into the details on the public board, the relationship between Deirdre and her sire is fairly complex:  it's a love-hate relationship; Her sire considers Deirdre with a strange combination of the attitude of a patronizing father and a scorned lover.  He's not out to destroy Deirdre (not physically at least), but he wants to possess her at all costs.  The fact that she repulsed him in the first place has only heightened that initial desire.  So I'm looking for someone who'd be willing to handle a mature, emotionally complex character and plotline.  If you want to get a hold of me to talk it over, you can e-mail me at Darkstar0528@aol.com, and catch me on AIM/AOL at Darkstar0528.
