We're opening up Changeling the Dreaming for submissions.

Characters can be sent to either Mnem or myself.

The game will cater for both Courts but won't be a particularly big game. We encourage players to keep outlandish characters to a minimum. Just because it's Fae and things of magic and myth doesn't mean that they are running around as player characters, such things are usually reserved for storyteller plot-lines.

That being said, character submissions need to follow simple rules:

Please make character creation as per the core rule book; Changeling the Dreaming. Use starting character creation rules. We are looking for basic characters and concepts to kick this game off. This means Houses are restricted to the core book too, so don't even ask for anything else. Again, use only starting character creation from the core rule book - this can't be stressed enough.

Any abilities, backgrounds or Arts over three will be looked at thoroughly.

Sidhe are currently not permitted as player characters. These are restricted until the game gets a solid base and then those players that have shown a keen interest and have been actively involved in the game shall be considered for the Ruling Fae.

Childling's are not permitted. Player characters as children on an adult orientated site does not make much sense. These, if they are used, will be reserved for plot-line purpose only and restricted to storyteller NPCs.

Merits and Flaws are currently also banned. See the above on basic character creation. We're being hard on these things for a reason and will loosen our reigns once the game is established. We want a strong player base before "quirky" characters start running around - as if Fae aren't "quirky" enough.

Please note: Unseelie are not the bad guys. Do not make them bad guys. Yes they can be greedy, self serving and generally assholistic, but if you think the Unseelie Court are bad, twisted and evil, then you need to go and read up on the book.

Hint: The easiest way to understand the Unseelie/Seelie is to look at the Legacies, which every character has one or the other, and check out the general "Laws" in which each Court hold dear. It will clearly outline the sort of values the Courts possess.  

P.S: I really am not anal. We want this to work. We need responsible, well thought characters - which does not necessarily mean elaborate concepts and/or histories. Solid characters is what we're looking for.

If you are interested just drop a line here (No need to cover everything) we would just like to hear interest and basic ideas so we know that there are enough people interested in playing. Even if you have spoken to us before, go ahead and post so we can gauge a number.

Ahh balls, I had a fabulous House Scathach knight to throw into the ring..but hey, no nobles and no "out there" characters pretty much makes the pirate with chimerical ship, chimerical crew and of course, chimerical companion parrot..well, not so fitting. Plus, so not a starting character.

I'll see if I can come up with a worthwhile character concept, I tend towards Sluagh most of the time.

I will be making a Pooka.

I know zero about Changeling, but will work out a character concept that is geared toward me learning more.

Yeah I'm working on a Brewer Satyr but i'm waiting for my Changeling 2nd edition hand book to come in the mail. I find so much easier to write up a character when i physically have the book not a pdf.

You guy should all be afraid allowing me to bring in a character that has same level knowledge of beer as i do.

Would be interested in playing an eshu... will work on some ideas.
