Mortal mien

Annabelle Lee is an average-looking if somewhat dramatically goth young girl, about college age. She wears unrelieved black clothing, and carries a black umbrella whether it be rain or shine, sheltering from the sun's cancer-giving rays and the storms alike. She carries a large backpack with her laptop and a few books, always including a copy of Edgar Allan Poe's complete works. Black=dyed hair and dark brown eyes contrast against her pale skin. She is very quiet, but friendly if you actually get her out of her shell.

Fae Mien

Poe's eyes yawn into black pits, and her already willowy form becomes even more so, seeming to bend with the wind. Her mouth is small and toothless, her fingers long and thin. Her voice, of course, can rise no higher than a whisper.

Chimerical Companion

The thin whisper of her voice is often heard conversing with a raven she calls Nev, who spends most of his time perched on her shoulder, when he's not off getting distracted by shiny things..Poe loves that Nev brings her so many shiny things, but she doesn't often question their origin. Nev's mind is as sharp as his beak.

Mortal Mien

Melina Petrova is easy to overlook, small, thin and quiet. Those who do notice her see an attractive young woman of about 20, with long black hair, deep set blue eyes, and a studious expression. Her clothes are usually thrift-store chic, mixing styles from the 1950's, 1920's, 1890's, and any other time period, though the condition of the clothing was not Melina's chief concern. It's not unusual to find her in faded black beat-style turtleneck one day and a used-to-be-white ruffled pirate shirt the next. The only constant is her black messenger bag containing poetry to be edited and her personal journal. She tends to be shy, but has a desire for strong friendships or romance that can make her practically forward, if she thinks someone may meet her half way.

Fae Mien

To other changelings, Melina is slightly taller and thinner, but still on the short side for a Sluagh. The black circles around her blue eyes make her stare particularly piercing, but the contrast can make her appear, if not beautiful, then at least striking. She moves with a quiet grace, and speaks in a whisper as though people would be wise to make the effort to listen.
