The moment the sun dips below the western horizon, Solomon rises. He has important business to attend. As he climbs the stairs that lead to the ground floor of the cathedral, he attunes his hearing to catch even the faintest of sounds. [Heightened Senses]

As he approaches the main gathering hall where the sermons are held, he can hear footsteps. He quickly pictures in his mind's eye an old bum he had seen the night before...

"Father Hues...?"

Father Hues is dressed in an overcoat, getting ready to leave before he hears his name called from the urchin.

"Yes, how can I help you?"

"Father, i have been traveling for so long. I seek a place to sleep during the long, hot, draining hour of the day. I am tired and sick. I have a health condition that permits me only to venture outside at night. I mean no harm, i am a good man of righteous intent, and ask only to be allowed sanctuary."

Solomon watches the priest, waiting for a reaction that would give away his feelings.
