It is a bit after 10 and an extended white Mercedes pulls up to the Cathedral.

The driver walks over and opens the door. A dark haired man in an expensive suit steps out motioning for the driver to wait. He walks over investigating if the chapel is still open.

He checks the door and opens it. Stepping inside...

Entering the hallowed grounds is disconcerting, I have not entered a church for a long time. I glance around noting the few relatively new conveniences. I have heard of this place in the news recently, and decided it might be time to investigate it. I draw upon my studies, shifting my vision to perceive that which lies directly under this realm, a shadow if you will. Slowly my eyes begin to gray, the irises adjusting to the decay that perpetuates this realm.

 I immediately am aware that I am alone, my sister no where about. Upsetting to say the least. She has become much stronger willed as of late, perhaps it is time for another 'object' lesson. I glance about looking for any signs of activity. A slight wisp catches my eye, so there is something about. I will teach my sister a lesson and return later. If I had a bit more knowledge about my quarry I could accomplish a lot more. No matter it is my opinion these things tend to stick around. They have no place to run...

From the shadows of a nearby alcove, Solomon watches, unseen, unheard, unmoving. The light bends and weaves about his body, hiding his form from all prying eyes. He is curious about this new comer. He focuses his sight, straining to see the colors and patterns of visitors aura...

It feels like the cogs in his head are sticking. Try as he might, he sees nothing. He must practice this new found power more... he does not seem to have the hang out it yet.

  "Cassandra, I am most disappointed," he softly whispers to himself. He stands for a moment in deep contemplation staring around the vaulted ceilings and stained glass that adorns the old cathedral. He fingers the wood on the pews and sits pondering something one can only guess.

Solomon summons to mind the image of Father Hues...

Stepping forth from the shadows, Solomon appears as a tall, thin man in priestly vestments. He could pass, perhaps, as Father Hues's younger brother.

"Greetings, my son..."

*"Good evening Padre, what keeps you up so late? I apologize about the hour, I just heard this cathedral was a sight to behold,"* turning and looking upon him.

*spoken in Italian*

Solomon pauses for a moment.

"Ah, yes, I am glad you have come. All are welcome in the House of God. Please, join me in the nave, where we can sit and talk..."

He starts to walk as he motions to the benches at the far end, towards the pew.

"... and I apologize, but my grasp of the old tongue is rather poor and causes me great embarrassment... especially in front of a native speaker. Might we converse in English?"

  "It would appear that it is a bit rusty. I appreciate your concern, but I was just here to say farewell to our recently lost Padre. Is there a shrine or maybe a painting? I would love to be able to see and remember him. He was a good friend and adviser."

"Of course, of course, right this way..."

I will show him to whatever has been erected to mourn the deceased Father. If their is a painting or shrine, I am sure that I have seen it in my inspection of the church. If nothing such exists, I will show him to the priest grave, assuming that he was buried in the cemetery.

 I follow him paying attention to any of the pictures or paintings. I am looking for something that he seemed attached to, that was precious to him.

(Sorry, didnt realize i was holding this scene up..)

There is both a memorial with pictures and the priests Robes and rosary attached to it. Father Gregory was loved by his parishoners and many have left little trinkets in his honor...

His body is also buried in the graveyard out back, where another small memorial still rests.

 (No I figured he would not spot anything)
"Well Father I am sorry to have pestered you, It is late and I must be leaving. I appreciate your assistance with Father Gregory, Good night Padre." With that he turns and leaves walking back to his car which quickly leaves.

 As the man departs Solomon hears a distinct voice from behind him,

   "We are watching you and know your lies"
   "You shall be judged as all, you cannot hide"

Turning about there is no one here, only the faint breeze and the candles flickering upon the memorial to the late Father. You cannot shake the feeling he is watching you.

He waits several moments, frantically looking about... but sees nothing. He sheaths his sword and makes his way, through the doors, out into the night.

This was far too much to deal with right now. He needed to center his mind. He needed to meditate on all of this.
