Its been a busy week.  School, her job at the casino, helping out at Thorns.  Christine has just decided to have a seat in the church, and ponder over her 'life' to date.

It hasn't been all bad.  Growing up, she was the petted and adored younger child and sister.  Even after her parents died, there was Ali.  Well...once she got to Ali at least.  Living in Kansas, going to the university there, becoming an accountant are probably about the best time of her more recent life.

If only the World of Darkness had not intruded.

Where would she be now?  Back in California, running her parents company?  Back in Georgia, with Ali?  Who knows.  A deep breath, as the tiredness just seems to well up from her very toes.  A normal life...dating, a husband, children.  All the things Luke had talked about with her, seem less a distant dream, than an unattainable fantasy.  

Getting up to leave, she feels the chains of her life settling back on her.  A final glance around, hoping some of the peace will stay with her.
