Here is how it works, they will be sorted in batches of five alphabetically.  If time permits, as well as attention and motivation, I will combine these into a master list for easier reference.

If a NPC dies, then instead of deleting them, there will be a second set of parenthesis that will have their altered condition. For example: (DEAD)(INCAP'ED)(WOUNDED)(MIND RAPED, BRANDED, AND RETARDED)

Again, that is primarily for reference and so I won't use the same NPC twice if they die, and if they are out of action I won't use them.

As for interaction, I plan to play about 4-5 of the NPCs each day, so I may play either 1 a day, or all 5 in small scenes.  Also, I will have the NPCs interact with each other, so a thug may kill an NPC and a cop will arrest him.  An NPC is wounded and taken to the doctor to be fixed up.  A NPC dies and his love ones mourn them, file a report, get arrested...I think you all get the point.

Finally, if RJ allows it, I will increase different types of NPCs depending on the actions of the players.  For instance, if it is quiet, I'll make more meatbag type NPCs.  If things get out of hand, naturally the police will crack down and I might make 5 new cops to play.  If things REALLY start getting out of hand, like all the cops constantly get killed, with permission I'll send in SWAT, military, etc.  On the other side, if I have too many NPCs that are not getting any interaction, I will start making them more pesky.  Depending on what I can get away with, it could be them being simply annoying and hanging around too much, to them being shot.  Out of a cannon.  At you.

Any suggestions for NPCs will certainly be taken into consideration, and I would like to encourage the creation of red shirt mortal NPCs.  Also, if there are any questions, please feel free to contact me.

DISCLAIMER: Any resemblance to ANYONE and EVERYONE living, dead, undead, or otherwise is purely coincidental, unintentional, and damn right creepy.  Also note that I will not change names unless under extreme circumstances, like documented proof that they killed your parents or that they are, in fact, Batman.

Bachman, Sara

Sara is one of the waitresses of the Starbucks in downtown Sanfield.  Working long hours to pay for college, she hopes to one day be a business owner, maybe even have a coffee shop of her own one day.

Barnet, Simon (Dead)

Dropping out of the 7th grade, Simon Barnet has lived the life of hard knocks. Since no place would hire a person so dim as him, he has resorted to street muggings.  Using his strength, size, and
knowledge of the slums, he aims to eventually make a name for himself.

Burges, Randal

Randal Burges is one of the many street cops of Sanfield.  proficient in firearms, he hopes to one day make Sargent, but is quite content with his daily patrols.  He typically patrols the downtown area, making sure muggers and crooks are placed where they belong, either in jail or a body

Burges, Sandra

Sandra Burges is Randal's wife.  Typically working around the house, she expresses an interest in gardening and craft work.  Though young couple have no children, Sandra one day aspires to be a mother.  Living in the suburbs, she and her husband have a tendency to do very mundane things when he is home, like barbecue with the neighbors or crossword puzzles.

Hues, Raymond

Raymond Hues came from a large Catholic family.  Always being one of the  faithful members, he decided to become a priest after high school.  He gives sermons at the cathedral, and occasionally moves between churches in the surrounding area.  Practicing what he preaches, he is considered by many of his congregation a decent moral compass for the city.

Hutchenson, David

Relatively new to Sanfield, David is learning the ropes of the city from his partner Randal.  Still fairly young and inexperienced, outside from academy teachings, he hopes to one day be as good of as an officer Randal.

Johnson, Arnold

Arnold works a desk job at a law firm in Sanfield.  Quite unhappy with the way his life turned out, he hopes that one day he will get a break and be more then a pencil pusher.  Constantly trying to make ends, he rents a cheap apartment out in the slums.

Plinsk, Amy

Amy is an older doctor, roughly about her mid forties.  Specializing in general practice, she is able to perform some minor and moderate surgeries if need be.  Spending so much time in school and work, she unfortunately does not have much of a social life, and little family.  She is dedicated to her practice however, and can typically be found at her home in the suburbia outskirts or the hospital.

White, Jeanne (Zaine's new 'love' slave)

When both of Jeanne's parents died when she was 10, her life began a drastic decline.  Constantly in and out of abusive foster homes, she decided to take life into her own hands and take up a life of crime in the slums of Sanfield.

Williams, Penny  (DEAD)

Working at Sanfield city hall, Penny is one of the many clerks who keep the citizen permits in order.  Some may consider her a grouchy old lady, but only because she is dedicated to the bureaucratic nonsense that is city hall.
