Thomas Christopher Flannigan

Born and raised, Christopher left home at 18 to lead a life of adventure, sin and poverty. After the recent death of his mother, he moved back to Sanfield to tie up loose ends and look after his Uncle. He works down at the docks and if he's not there, he's either gambling, boozing or whoring it up in the Slums. He is an impeccably sharp dresser but not particularly hansom. Luckily, what he lacks in appearance, he makes up for in eloquence. Unfortunately, his usual topic of discourse is the hopelessly doomed state of [insert random noun]. This is compounded by the fact that his voice sounds like it was soaked in a vat of bourbon and run over by a car. Most that know him say he seems much more jaded than his years would account for. He has a reputation for a shuddersome disposition, which he takes great pride in.

Annabelle Lee, aka Poe.

Annabelle is a fairly average if overly dramatically gothic student in graphic design at Sanfield Rock University. She moved her from Denver to go to school, leaving her beloved parents and the world of freeholds and fae she knew behind.
She dresses her willowy form in unrelieved black and carries a black umbrella on sunny days, as if she fears even a few rays of sunlight touching her.
She always carries around a copy of Edgar Allan Poe's complete works in her backpack, and can often be seen reading it or studying on her laptop in coffee houses around town.
She's a very quiet young girl, though those with the eyes to see can often see her whispering to the raven perched on her shoulder.

Melina Petrova (aka Melanie Peters) was born and raised in Deesboro, a small town about an hour outside Sanfield Rock. To her parents disappointment, she refused to join Girl Scouts at the age of 6, play soft ball at the age of 12, or go to college at the age of 18. Instead, she moved to the city where she edits and publishes (and occasionally writes for) an online poetry 'zine, as well as producing the occasional chapbook. She makes a living well enough, since she has no problem with her windowless basement apartment, getting her clothing and furniture from a second hand store at best or found in a dumpster at worst, and living off of tea and canned vegetables. Despite this (or, more likely, because of it) she lives in a world of poetry, constantly searching for people who understand the metaphors.
