In case someone checks, the little AI's have installed nothing.  They are watchdogs at best and are guarding your systems until they can guard themselves.  They do like to read the geekier comic strips like xkcd though...All they've done is connect the security feeds to one central monitor and are presently stone walling any extraneous program that tries to infiltrate the mainframe.

RJ, if you need them to make a contested roll, let me know.

The little cars arent 'true' AI since Seamus doesnt have mind magic to create them with, so they are really just clever warning programs that exist in 'the cloud' or something, if they arent installed. ]

Pelayo will busy himself with the fail-safes on the labs mainframe. It was once a super-computer type thing on the verge of artificial intelligence. But with the loss of the original Sons of Ether most of the labs faculties will be unusable.

Pelayo will use the main terminal get things started. The massive reboot of the possible radiation damaged drives will take a while. First things first will be to raise the actual guts of the computer, which happen to reside in a 10 foot diameter case that rises from the floor under the table.

Pelayo will crawl right inside to replace the hardware firewall. If anything is definitly compromised, its that.

Mal starts whistling to herself and wanders off, no doubt to put more lasers together. After all, she's pretty sure the toilet needs a laser.

She begins muttering to herself, deep in thought.

"Zap your ass if you don't flush. Yeah. That's a good idea...I'll just make it a weak laser so it feels like a pinch and it doesn't actually, you know, do damage, like slice off a buttcheek or something. So if I remove that wire and change the angle on that lens and I reroute the.."

The mutterings trail off as Mal gets further away, headed for her workbench.

Hardware at least semi-sorted out Pelayo will reboot the entire mainframe in the lab. The lights die for a few seconds before the power kicks back on. Seamus and his nosy little guardians will lose their connection for a moment before it re-appears, altered.

All the terminals in the main room come up clean. The radiation has bathed away the majority of the labs data and experiments. The entire place will be a clean slate needing to be rebuilt. Pelayo will go about dividing the resources again, alocating equal thirds beetween Malaclypse, Rahshid and himself. The apprentice will have to share with Rahshid or borrow from the others...

The first awakened system in Pelayos lab is the self replicating nano-tank. A bank vault looking device that houses the self replicating nano-bots that Pelayo created. He routes billions of these into the labs ventilation, plumbing, walls and shielding with the intent of shielding the lab from life scans. Anyone attempting to look in or detect the mages will not see them as lifeforms.
