While staring blindly at her computer screen, she found her thoughts drifting back.  Not really all that far back, but certainly a few years.  So much had happened.  
Chris has been eighteen years old when she met Robbie.  Like any somewhat naive girl, she found the 'bad boy' image to be irresistable.  It was only later, after everything happened, she found out what he really was.
A Malkavian. A vampire, in real, true to life color.  He'd messed with her head, put scarification on her back and put her on drugs.  If he'd not been taken and put to final death by the sabbat, who knows what might have happened to her.  As it was, she met Doc.
Admittedly, Doc and Clarriker had spoiled her.  They had both treated her more like a friend, or, in some cases, like a daughter, not a servant.  Doc had taught her, gotten her to go to school to finish her accounting degree, and shown her the world.  He'd also taught her the finer aspects of cheating at cards and dice, and how to cover up stealing.
At that thought, a faint grin.  Oh yes, she could remember those times.  Double entry books, very double entry.  One set for Doc, and one set for the tax people.  How they never got caught, well that wasn't something she really thought of.  At least not at that time.
Now, with Thomas Arturo, she was realizing exactly what he thought of her, and those like her.  It was difficult in a way...Doc had used the name Thomas in Port Lusseria, so, in a way, she felt safe with someone of that name.  She wasn't, and now she was truly beginning to realize it.

Now, however, she needed to think.  How best to follow his order.
But, how?  Then, a remembered fragment of the conversation.  Throw him off the roof?  Well, that could probably be done, with the lousy weather, she was sure the roof was slippery.  Could be made even more so, but how to get him up there?

Looking up, she noticed one of the bartenders tucking something into what they all called the drug case.  A special safe, in which to put all the illegal substances that the bartenders found.  Watching, then thinking...yes, that could work.  It would take some doing, she herself couldn't, but she was sure she could get that done.  Nodding to herself, finally shuts down the computer.

Early the next morning, she was 'organizing' the safe of illegal substances.  Not really her job, of course, but why would anyone question her?  She's been doing everything, it seems, from accounting, decorating, supervising, dealing cards and generally into anything and everything.  Organizing, and checking the inventory of said safe, well, probably one more job the boss has laid on her.  
Certainly no one should think it strange.  Unless they saw her take those two pills.  Rohypnol.  Date Rape drug.  

Now....find the right person to slip it into Alexi's drink.  She had been watching the bartenders and waitresses.

Theres nothing out of the ordinary about people depositing things into that small safe. Every firearm take from a drunk or any multitudeo f drugs and paraphanalea are kept in there after being taken from staff or patrons alike.

Some things just draw the wrong kind of attention and Arturo tries to run a clean buisness here; unless of course its his decision to let things get dity...

But when Cindy spots Christine taking something out of the safe, that gets her attention. Being the caring type she will wander over to talk to Christine who she knows to be shy, maybe the girl has a drug problem?

'You alright Miss Johnson?'

She asks, setting down her empty drink tray on the bar.

Christine won't jump, scream or anything.  Acting pretty much as normal, she'll smile at Cindy, as she closes the safe.  

'just seeing what all is in there'  A sudden glint of mischief in her eyes.

'it almost looks like we could open up a small pharmacy with all that stuff in there' she won't make a huge production of putting the stuff she took in her pocket or anything.  'how is everything going?'

'Fine..'

She answers short. Cindy raises an eyebrow at Christines odd behavior and purses her lips. Its not really her place to get involved but Christine is kinder than Alexi and shed rather keep Christine around.

'You do know all that stuffs illegal and that Mister Arturo keeps a log of it and i think even turns it over to the police...'

Cindy looks concerned, maybe Christine is an addict.

'Are you a user or trying to re-sell the stuff?'

Her smile might lessen, quite a bit at Cindy's question, before looking at her.
'a fair question, but no..I'm not'

Chris had thought, for a moment of asking Cindy to help, but...did she have any right to possibly put the girl into danger? A moment of reflection says, no, she doesn't, and she had better come up with a plan to do this herself.  If she can't put the drug in Alexi's drink, there are other ways of getting rid of him.

'don't worry, Mr. Arturo knows about this'  With that, she'll go back to her office, wishing she were callous enough to go ahead and put someone in danger.  

Cindy looks confused. She reached out but Christine ran away... She will be keeping an eye on the girl as best she can but for now she has drinks to serve and other things to worry about.

Back to the old drawing board.  She just simply is not callous enough to put another person in mortal danger.  A bad failing in a ghoul, but thats just how she is.  Plan B, do it herself.  Its her job, she needs to just go ahead and do it.  

Looking for Alexi, she'll just get him a drink, a peace offering if you will.  

Oh yes, plan C, is also being considered.  While she's fairly sure Alexi won't really consider her any danger, well, there is that possibility.  After all, if she's been told to kill him, whats stopping Arturo from giving Alexi orders to kill her?

There are always ways and means.  An air filled syringe, foxglove tea, getting him to fall off the roof, or having his brakes fail.  Shoving him in front of a train, or bus.  The more violent ways, while a nice fantasy, ok, she's not quite that mean.  Or is she?

The drugging idea is out, but she has a better plan. One that is simplicity itself.  An empty syringe.

Keeping it with her (being extremely careful) and waiting her chance.

All she has to have is a few seconds to plunge it in his heart, shooting air in, instant heart attack.  

A lonely hallway....no one else around, and the deed should be done.

There is a brief knock on the door followed by an immediate opening and the appearance of a face she's learned to hate behind the door.  Alexi's demeanor however has changed a great deal since she last saw him, his eyes appear sunken in a bit, as if he's had little sleep and his suit, though impeccable, is far less perfect than he normally appears.

"Christine, I need to talk to you..."

Then again, she will at least let him in.  Although her face will show little if any emotion.

[If Christine is not holding the syringe in plain sight, she will need to make a Dexterity + Performance (Sleight of hand) roll @ Diff: 5 (for the tiny object). Alexi will make a contested Perception and Alertness @ diff: 6. OR, if shes just holding it, Alexi can auto spot it.]

Words seem caught in his throat, no soul has ever seen Alexi this way, not even Mr. Arturo.  Typically Alexi is crisp and alert, and he rarely fumbles for words but today he's lost...

"I...I can't process that.  I know our Domitor ordered me to do those...things, but I cannot..I need to talk to Mr. Arturo, and I'd like you to be there with me."

Again Alexi searches for words that seem to escape him.

"I know you hate me, and that you have no reason to trust me.  But I've asked Cindy to accompany us because she's one of your assistants, and so that hopefully you'll...."

Alexi stares at the floor.

"I understand if you don't want to, but I've asked Mr. Arturo for a meeting for the both of us and he said he'd expect us this evening.  If you don't want to come I'll tell him myself, hopefully he'll understand why you didn't want to come too..."

Christine CANNOT trust Alexi, no matter how sincere he sounds.  No matter how hurt, apologetic or anything.  She just can't.  She is also under orders.  Failure is not an option at this time.

Then again, is Arturo expecting them?  She has heard nothing about it, studying Alexi as he stands there.  No, she does not need anyone else involved, especially someone with no way to protect herself.

A bit snippy?  Well, wouldn't you be?

Christine is probably going to regret this, but she shakes her head.

'I'll go to his office, I don't think Cindy needs to come along, there may be some things she doesn't need to know about'

Keeping the syringe hidden, if he doesn't know about it...hopefully she'll have a chance to use it.

"On the contrary, I know your feelings towards me, and the discomfort they cause, I've asked Cindy to accompany us for your peace of mind and I think she's happy to do it, right Cindy?"

Alexi will begin walking towards Mr. Arturo's office.

Alexi catches one of the house staff and tells them to inform Mr. Arturo they are on their way.

"Let's be quick about this now, we've kept Mr. Arturo waiting..."

Bad bad feelings about this, very bad..what the hell is going on here?  Cindy HATED Alexi, almost as much as Christine did...that, or the woman was one hell of an actress.  Then again...the awe hitting her.....she went along, following Cindy closely enough*
